I know! It's too damn addictive and very intense. Especially when you name the characters and you really don't want them to die. It has been definetly one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences in the last few years. It's so simple yet so good. I really hope this encourages developers to continue making turn-based games in the future too.

It still amazes me that there aren't any hockey games on Steam. Even curling is at least present in part of a game.
They need to be posted in the Steam Sale at least everyday 5 minutes before a new sale happens!

I'm not going to defend them but the mod was great, better than some AAA FPS released this year, that being said it doesn't feel right to charge for it unless they add more value to it.

It sort of means a lot because it's a game that would be technically violating the shit out of Valve's intellectual property. It's a huge step forward for the mod community and another example of how progressive Valve is as a company.
I bought a couple of months ago "Borderlands 2 Euro steam key" from Play Asia, and now I can't play it anymore (Play button became Buy).
Since it's already installed, I have it on Steam under category "Other games".
What?!

Good that they're still working on Xen. Call me weird but I never had big problems with that part of the game besides the shitty boss. HL1 without it just isn't the same.

Unfortunately, you missed the boat on that. You bought one of the new RU/CIS subs that were region-locked from the off rather than one of the earlier ones that were retroactively region-locked (and are now region free again, hence the new subs).

.I have played and loved an awful lot of games since I got this pc a few months ago but XCOM and FTL stand clear of them all. Both were gifted to me too by lovely fellow GAFers!
I returned the favour with FTL in the Summer Sale by buying up a bunch of cheap copies and ModBotting them away in here. I'm looking forward to when EU is cheap enough that I can do the same with that game. They are both so awesome I would like more people to play them and enjoy them just as we have .God damn it. So the chance they might disable the region lock on my copy is practically zero? In that case, can i sell the cd key to some russian guy for cheaps? Or is it tied to my account now since i tried to activate it? Sorry for being such a noob on this steam thing.

Not in this case: Valve isn't going to help and since he bought one of the replacement subs Ubi isn't going to remove the restriction since they weren't ever region-free. The best he can do is sell it to an Eastern European user and make most of his money back.
