I wouldn't mind if they had progressed the idea somehow, but I never felt that the information you gained from the investigations actually mattered. It just felt like hoop jumping to slow the game down/stop you progressing.

The information doesn't matter insofar that the game, oddly enough, doesn't reward you for the perfect stealth assassination of a target (staying anonymous both prior to and after the fact), but if this is something you nonetheless desire, then you're likely going to need it. That said, IIRC, a couple of the targets Al Mualim gives you automatically set you up to fail in this regard (there's a trap in one of the game's earliest missions and, much later, a bait-and-switch).

Skyrim vanilla or the LE? I'm not sure if I'll be able to help since I'll need to use a VPN to circumvent the Aussie Tax and Ubi's checkout system might cry foul if I try to use an Aussie billing address on the US store, but I can give it a shot.

The problem with games that require Uplay and Rockstar Social Club is that those services are about as likely to be around 10 years from now as GFWL is. Origin probably wont even be around that long. Any game that requires those services to run is nothing more than a rental.

You know what, after thinking a bit about this I'll just pass from this uPlay Bethesda sale. I fear the uPlay client will force me to download Dishonored at 30 kbps before activating the game on Steam. Not worth it, I'll just wait till the Autumn seal next week.

I really liked the first 2 or 3 hours of AssCreed 1, after that i couldn't keep playing. On the other hand, I finished 2 and Brotherhood, it's the same ideas but with way better gameplay and more variety.

Definitely give AC4 a shot, I'm really liking it. It doesn't spend a lot of time with buildup and has stayed interesting so far.

Stay away from 3 at all costs.

The only GoT game-related news that'd get me excited is CDPR announcing that it's making an RPG set in the universe.

I probably need to give it another chance. I have had frog legs a couple times, and it tasted drastically different depending on who is making it. Plus it doesn't help that I was eating at a bar called the Tacklebox when I had it. They are probably not culinary geniuses.
