Is there any territory where Sony is unlikely to lead?
People treating Knack like it's a pile of shit is hilarious to me. It may not be a GOTY contender or anything, but it's far from a bad game.
North America sold 1 million PS4s because the USA is basically 50 countries when compared to Europe.

I played it for an hour. It wasn't even that good. Mario was way better.
*Pouty face*
I can tell you didn't try getting hold of a PS4 in Notts on Friday.Even so, I'm some wondering if there's some sort of Sony UK capital that I don't know about. Of the twenty or so East Midlands gamers I know IRL, three bought Wii Us at launch, but only one bought a PS4.

Japan will be final challenge.
I really hope PS4 sold well in Japan, so that we'll get more Japanese console games
Brazil I think.
Brazil I think.
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls popular you say? Those games were low-cost and inside their niche market they sold really well, which means that outside a few games this kind of gameplay formula is dead.So Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are popular because of graphics and plot?
It's hilarious that some people still think that the relationship between graphics and gameplay is a zero-sum game although you can have both at the same time.
It's a PS1 game with PS4 dressing. As someone who has wanted to see this type of game return, I'm more than happy, even with the obvious lack of depth.
No numbers yet?
Also Wii U is dead in the UK.
Mario deserves better but the Wii U doesnt. I dont know what I feel! : /
Do you mean sells well? Because it doesn't launch in Japan until next year.

250k launch in the UK = "super low" ?? What are you guys smoking?

DM really had no idea what he was doing during the reveal for the Xbox One. As soon as he left, Microsoft started to turn thier PR around. Phil Spencer isnt really a genius like J or Robbie' but I'd say he's more then capable for now.
Yet Nintendo continues to push more in Europe with special stuff.

Someone said it was super low?
Really?

Again, I'm failing to see anything that new in 3D World. Multiplayer? It's been in the last two NSMB games. Cat Suit? Just another powerup really, no different than the Tanooki suit or any other suit, wow I can crawl up walls now. Sorry, I just don't see any "fucking charm" to the game. And it seems that Nintendo Diehards are the only ones that do.
Don't get me wrong, its as fun as other Mario games but it really doesn't seem like anything that different than NSMBU except 3D.
Yeah, previous page!
None. MS still have a few cards left to play, they could drop the price in the new year or add some more value to the current package. One or more free game downloads along with a 6 month subscription to Gold, etc.
A hard price cut would be the best way to get some momentum behind it in the new year though...
Just one guy who got EU confused with UK.Yeah, previous page!
Oh god not another allusion to Crash Bandicoot. It's nothing like it. The criticism for the game is about the game being on a track and a God of War lite. It probably would've scored better if it HAD followed the formula of PS1 platformers.
250k seems super low, I thought they were hoping for more than one million there too.

Honestly if the PS4 sold 10-12 million in Japan I would consider that a great accomplishment. It will have some heavy hitters like Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts and the occasional Gundam game, but it will also likely have some dry spells and the system is very much designed towards western sensibilities.

Have you seen how much their components costs? Even without Kinect, the PS4 is about $20 less to build than the XB1.
Someone fucked up MASSIVELY at MS.
