So bummed I'm gonna be out wearing a stupid mask at a Christmas party.

This is one night I'd really really appreciate staying in.

The show will be up for viewing afterwards. I mean a Christmas party can't be as cringe-worthy as the VGA ... er VGX, right?

what the hell is hammond robotics?

http://www.teamhammond71.com/

And on that site there is a link to

http://www.theredalliance.com/

Hammond Robotics is probably a fictional corporation within some game, and this is Geoff teasing.

As I said in the other thread, closest match I could find is Titanfall.

The Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC)

The IMC started out small, in natural resource extraction industries, under the name Hammond Engineering. Increasing demand for Titan manufacturing materials, combined with Hammond's market-cornering planetary survey technology and map database rights, contributed to explosive growth for the company. Over the course of a century, a series of acquisitions, mergers, and re-brandings lead to the transformation of Hammond Engineering into the ruthless commercial empire that is the IMC.

With the Frontier’s valuable shipping lanes and vast planetary resources ripe for exploitation, the IMC is dedicated to maximizing profits and shareholder wealth, using the legal application of force when necessary.

I think we'll definitely see some PS goodness.

Anyone who thought otherwise were kidding themselves.

Does anyone think we will get a release date for Quantum Break? I love Remedy, and wish QB was coming out sooner rather than later. I'm afraid we will have to wait for E3 for the release date though.

dat swamp
That's a damned religious experience, man. Definitely need to pick up a ps4 next year.

Truth be told, I've always dreamt of a Zelda that looked like that. Particularly with a badass swamp setting.

If the gods heed my prayers we'll see a Zelda trailer with much emphasis on epic locations. If they do not, than to HELL with them

VGX 2013 trailer/promo. As with most of the marketing campaign so far, the "world premieres" emphasise titles we already know exist, almost identical to the list in the OP, with no real attention directed towards the possibility of new announcements.

Not that I'm denying there will be announcements, but I'd think if there was "Big game from X" possibly revealing at the show, or teasing, like previous VGA years, there would be some promo material to suggest that. The attention is focused on the knowns. The knowns are good, but I'd shape hype accordingly.

Hmm, that's pretty disappointing tbh =/

Eh, IMO there's still bound to be a couple of surprises.

The stuff we know about is pretty good already though. Especially given that it's more indepth than previous years. Add like 2-3 unknowns and it'll be a really solid show.

Yea, we know there will be new reveals, even if it's just a couple, I'm good with that.

Oh I think there will be too. Just noting they're making basically zero effort to acknowledge such announcements in all of the promo stuff. Not even cliché "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT YOU WONT BELIEVE" stuff. I think if there were really big surprising teasers, like Fallout 4 or Mass Effect 4, they existence of said teasers would be noted if as vaguely as possible, as they have been in previous years. All new announcement/tease hype has been deflected towards hyping the known titles. Thankfully that lineup also happens to be really quite good.

@geoffkeighley What about new game reveals?

---

Geoff KeighleyVerified account ‏@geoffkeighley

@Lolboy117 They wouldn't be reveals if we talked about them in advance.

@geoffkeighley will there be new world premieres at VGX? Such as the years before

Geoff KeighleyVerified account ‏@geoffkeighley

@Half_Kris_2 Game announcements? Yes.

I'm going to say they have two like last year (Dark Souls 2, MGS5), but don't have enough that they can tease some of them and still have any surprises.

It's kinda stupid that stuff gets revealed before the night they were suppose to be revealed.

Wait, I thought we were complaining about that not happening. :p

They also have to get people to actually watch the show.

The known games so far were already announced and have gameplay out there already anyway. They wouldn't really make for surprising 'reveals'.

Lol, pretty much. I think we'll get 3 or 4 new reveals. Some could be like a 30 second teaser though.

Quantum Break doesn't. Which is the only one in the list I'm actually looking forward to see.

The Last of Us, the best game of last gen (IMO of course) was a VGA World Premier, no one saw that game coming.

Well they did hype a "PS3 exclusive that no-one will see coming" or something so we knew something was due.

Doesn't make any sense for Sony NOT to be there, I certainly expect more on the new Uncharted, don't know what else they'll show though, Sony been very quiet about "AAA" games for PS4 for some reason.
