I already played it on PS3 as they never said anything, but I'd buy it on Steam if it included some extra stuff.

The last thing to come out was the "Special Edition" rerelease for PS3 in Japan with all of the DLC in one code. Something like that but with all of the content on-disc and looking and playing better and smoother on the new hardware and capable PCs would be quite swell.
It's my Game of the Year for 2013, so I would gladly play it again on PS4. All of it.

Ever since I bought PS4/XB1 and moved my 360 into the bedroom I've been playing MGR:R every night before I go to bed. What a great game.

In the meantime, maybe we should tweet Kojima to put MGS 1&2 on Steam? I mean the HD collection would be better when it comes to MGS2 but something is better than nothing, I suppose.

Dying.... That is great.
I'm not saying I don't want the PC version. I just smell something else is going on.... Given that other studios are doing the same thing (ie Tomb Raider) I don't think its out of the question to assume that Konami is doing the same thing with their most popular game this year.

And here I just ordered the collectors edition off amazon the other day. Well at least I still get a lamp.
I don't know much about development, but apparently it took 3 months to port Warframe from PC to the architecturally similar PS4, and that was considered 'fast'. Considering how different the PS3 and PC are, and how inexperienced Japanese developers are with PC, it makes sense for the porting process to be over 6 months.

I played the ps3 demo about 5 times and loved it more and more. After the initial info I decided to wait and I still have hope.
I even have the game now off ps+ for gods sake Konami just tell me if I shoul wait some more.

Konami's in-house development or Platinum games?
At this point we are not publishing the re-print of the title a la Japan. We did, however, lower the price of the game and are currently offering the DLC for Sam and Bladewolf for FREE in North America on PSN, and Worldwide on Xbox Live.

The official word is soon. The unofficial is no less nebular. I want to play Rising on my rig as much as anyone else, but it will be done when it is done, and not a moment before.
At least we know it's in good hands, albeit new to this sort of thing.
