Awesome, my Brawl main has returned. Have never played a Kirby game in my life, but King Dedede was a fucking beast in that game. Really hoping Sonic isn't ass in this game though, swear he was balanced around Smash Balls or something, because he was so fucking weak.

Why would they? Meta Knight is not in that game.

Kirby Triple Deluxe was released in Japan today, it was even mentioned in the update.

Reveals of characters tend to coincide with game releases. (Olimar, Toon Link, Sonic, Zelda and now King Dedede)

Kirby Triple Deluxe releases in Japan this weekend. Sakurai reveals characters when a game of theirs releases - often opting for Japan releases over NA and EU. It was either Metaknight or Dedede, but Metaknight isn't even in KTD so by deduction it should have been Dedede.
