All in all pretty entertaining stuff. Anyway this is going to be a loooong generation FILLED with this kind of stuff....and it's not surprising at all. The knowledge of the differences between the consoles is something we've had for a while now.

All I'm focusing on is that I'm happy CD was able to get 60 fps on the PS4.

Even now, I absolutely cannot believe how the roles have switched entirely from last gen.

Last gen, Microsoft were firing on all cylinders and had a great console with the best multiplats. Sony stumbled, had a more expensive console, made serious mistakes and had inferior multiplats.

Now it's the complete opposite but somehow Microsoft have dug an even deeper hole than Sony did with the PS3. It's fucking insane.

i bought an x1 for the games (and i still stand by that it was the right choice for me) but the fact that the system is significantly under powered and $100 more is insane.

well he says he is not paid to me just now, and I'll take him at his word. He got branded in the other thread for similar behavior in which he said he had no problem with the Machinima paid promotion and that he said he has an channel which is all Xbox anyway and doesn't see what's wrong with getting paid for that, and then someone linked to his twitter which made it look like a lot worse. But he says he's just a really passionate Xbox fan, so we'll leave it at that.

It would be more accurate to sat that Tomb Raider had a last gen version. The PS4/XBone is a port of the PC version on ultra settings.

If this difference in framerate occurs for a last gen game with slight bumps in visuals, then what's going to happen with major multiplatform titles down the road?

The implications of this are so fucked.

People buying X1s should just go in knowing they're going to get the short end of the stick this gen. At this point, I don't see myself buying an X1 unless it's $100 less than the PS4, asking for the same, or currently $100 more than the superior console is just insane.

PS4 hardware is vastly superior. We already know this from the tech specs.

As for PC GAF, well they can laugh since both consoles are significantly weaker than top-end PC's.

That doesn't make the consoles "bad" in any way though since they're good machines for those prices.

Well it's still early in the gen and this is the first game with double the fps on PS4. I'd say at this point its a big deal.
