what the fuck I had to pay tax on the bundle lol, and Im in portugal. what a load of horseshit. still got it, but damn

actually didnt have 7 (!) of the games in the bundle, I consider that a huge sucess. And I broke 1.4k too, sigh. Anyway, spares!

Thanks for Mutant Mudds!

I was sure I bought Saturday Morning RPG in some bundle, can't find in which one. Or am I mistaken altogether?

It was in Indie Royale's Debut 6 bundle and was also part of the recent Retro 2 bundle from Groupees.

Edit: Kindasorta beaten.

Would be nice to see it come over.
We've gotten BB though that was GFWL exclusive, then some of the other GG's are on PC. Think it's just all going to depend. Have they actually said what consoles it was coming to? Recall they said PS3 and then everything else was up in the air right?

Just PS3 and PS4 atm.

Ahhh ok. Still at least were probably at a higher chance of it happening.
I mean it is Unreal Engine 3 after all, and just about every game made with that has made it's way to the PC since it's apparently easy to port over.

Some blink bundle thoughts:

Gnomoria - Excellent little Dwarf fortress like title that keeps getting improved. It is going to take a lot of work to get into it but the depth is there.
Sideway New York - More generic than El Generico acting generic in a generic contest...and winning. Not worth the download.
Archon Classic - I haven't played Archon in ... a long time. Do you want chess littered with lots of RPG type mechanics? No not me either.
Light of Altair - Seems interesting but it is supposed to be limited. I didn't even get that far.
Blockland - If you ever wished Lego ripped off minecraft and sucked all the charm out of it this game is probably for you. Pass.
Eldritch - Takes a page out of Ultima Underworlds book but it was that page where they list the publishers address and things like that so it isn't very interesting. Still kind of worth a download...it tries.
Lilly Looking Through - Nice graphics and charm...but short and kind of pointless in the end. Just go through some screenshots.
Mutant Mudds Deluxe - It works, you jump and shoot, the background jumping mechanic is cool and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Can do better with your time.
Influx - Nice graphics in that "we wanted to make a RPG or something deeper but we couldn't get it to work so we just put a ball in the world you roll around a bit" way. Everything feels out of place, but it isn't the worst effort ever. Try for a couple of puzzles.
Hero of the Kingdom - Kind of like a bad book that you have to touch 100 times to turn the page. Easy to get into but repetitive and interaction is very limited. I don't know... kind of relaxing and nicely drawn so maybe worth a few minutes.

Another couple of KISS games:

20% off ($7.99) for the next week.

As above.

Sadly, neither are KISS: Psycho Circus. :(

A patch to remove GFWL would be nice in regards to Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, but I'm still waiting on them fixing the the fact i bought a copy and it never activated due to some publishing error.

Aww, but he tries so hard at it

You don't like anything, do you?

I still believe in Hero of the Kingdom, it can't be that bad!

I actually like lots of games, I just tend to try everything I buy and a lot of games just happen to suck. As such, I just tell it like it is.

Hero of the Kingdom isn't "that bad" it just isn't what I thought it was and what it is just isn't that interesting. It'd probably play better on a tablet and a comfy couch so you can just stab at the screen as you doze off after a hard day and one too many wines.

Delve Deeper: Neat concept, sort of pipes meets carcassone meets...probably something else. Would need some invested friends to get the most out of it, but worth having in the library.
Sparkle 2 Evo Like the PS3 title Fl0w, only nowhere near as good and fl0w wasn't exactly great to begin with.
Pineapple Smash Crew: Wasn't quite what I expected and is somewhat limited in what you can do. But it isn't without a certain style and is fun for a short play of shooting action.
Megabyte Punch: Kind of a let down as it just doesn't "feel" like the game I wanted it to be. Can do better 2D wise but it isn't the worst.
Slender: The Arrival: Took far too long to get going for my tastes. Running around aimlessly looking for paper in the other Slender was fine and I didn't need a long tour to get to it. Still a reasonable effort and worth one short play.

I'll probably start playing this time sucker after I get a new rig, which is Saturday.

you should put all your affairs in order until that time.

I was just pulling your leg a little. Lot of games happen to suck, I know that.
I wanted Hero of the Kingdom to be a good game, liked concept and having something like Rune Factory but on PC.

Yeah it is nothing like Rune Factory. General flow is something like:

* Text: "I need you to get me some apples and some mushrooms"
* A prompt appears over an apple tree and some mushrooms, you click on both in turn.
* A prompt appears back on the person requesting the apples and some mushrooms. You click that.
* Text: "Thanks for my apples and mushrooms".
* A prompt appears that you can click which moves you to the next scene.

And so on. Combat is handled like this:

* A prompt appears on an enemy, you click it.
* You may not have the items or hearts to defeat the enemy, so prompts appear on the place to get the item and a place to rest. You then click those.
* Ready for combat, you can now click on the enemy and you win.
* A prompt appears that you can click which moves you to the next scene.

.

I hope I don't come across as being negative. I'll try to mix it up more.

too late derrick

Ouch.

Seriously though, I'm very conscious of posting too much of something and becoming a "thing". So if I ever do please PM me and I'll try to get better.

Oh and come on guys. I tried Binary Domain again and it sucks.

Oh and one more for the road:

Rymdkapsel: It looks neat and it is a pretty enjoyable experience as you build up your "space-station" and fend off the attackers. The problem is it is one of those games you'll play once (an hour or so) and never feel the urge to play ever again due to lack of content and repetition. So only pick it up at a very low price (comes out in 6 hours, not sure what they are asking for it http://store.steampowered.com/app/253790/ Probably $2-$2.50 is about right).

No, you suck.
Binary Domain is both the best Vanquish game currently available on PC and the best Yakuza game currently available on PC. And also, has way better TPS shooting than Max Payne 3. Also, Bo and Cain.
In conclusion, toddhunter has bad game taste.

Servizio

I don't really need a tag, but I figured I'd get one to make people jealous. Is it working?
I would like to purchase Dark Souls for $2.50 tomorrow. Would any of you fine gentlemen be willing to help out with a spare Amazon coupon?

Yeah it is nothing like Rune Factory.

I wasn't expecting anything complex, actually, but it seems to be much more simple than I imagined, a pity really.

You can't say to me that Binary Domain sucks too... now when I bought it because steamgaf liked it more or less. That's too much disappointment for one day, totally!

you are a bit too late to the party, but it's still nice bundle.

Polygon said:
Treasure, the developer behind action arcade game Ikaruga, has plans to continue porting its games to PC, Siliconera reports via Famitsu.

During an interview with Famitsu, Treasure president Masato Maegawa said that its recent success with porting 2001 title Ikaruga to Steam via Greenlight isn't the end.

"Ikaruga is the first one, and we don't intend on stopping there," Maegawa said. "There are some players who say ‘How about Radiant Silvergun?' but we also don't intend to only do ports. We're thinking of making a new original title for the platform, Steam."

Maegwa added that it will likely stick with PC games because for a small company, it's "almost impossible to release the same title on all hardware, and on the same day."

More games from Treasure, and also a new original game!

So, if our friend the X1 leaker is corrent, would it be crazy to assume the Steam database entries refer to ports of the X1 versions of the Halo games? Maybe they're bringing them to PC at the same time.

Never gonna happen, but a man can dream, right. :'(

My dream of a new Bangai-O is that much closer, and on Steam with Steamworks for custom stage sharing would be oh so heavenly no matter which of the styles (Bangai-O and Bangai-O Spirits/Missile Fury had different focuses) it uses.

I'd play the fuck out of the Halo 3 MP on PC. BR Slayer on the Pit 24/7 here I come.
