Hmm yeah I've got 928 coins left. Although I stumbled upon another list of free games that apparently are listed under "Games That Earn Amazon Coins" is there some kinda catch?
I'm eyeing Monument Valley DLC, Blazing Star, Super Monkey Ball, maybe a Metal Slug game just for the novelty, I still have a Galaxy S3 phone so any recommendations with low battery drain would be nice.

From what I understand at least some of them have some kind of prize in coins, like casino games or whatever.

This isn't a bad necrobump, for everyone who got in on this deal last year, if you have any remaining coins left they will expire on May 31st. So spend them before then!

You can technically install them through the Appstore then uninstall the Appstore, but you'd lose the ability to update the apps. There are no market links to the apks to the Google Play store. The Amazon Appstore is basically a glorified apk manager with drm.

Topic is now serving as a reminder for people to spend their coins earned last year, as they expire at the end of this month.
I've tried to install Hearthstone three times now from the Amazon Appstore, even after deleting my Google Play version, and each time the installation fails. Plenty of room, it worked before...
This happens to me all the time. I find restarting the phone then installing usually solves the issue.

If you have an authenticator on your phone it will fail every time. I had to remove the authenticator from my account and uninstall from my phone before I was able to install it from amazon apps.
LOL, have the exact same amount of coins left and nothing interesting to spend on. Amazon App Store sucks (or really, the apps I wanted were already bought on Google Play, compound with limited library).

Ah, thanks for the reminder to spend the coins. Also, it's great to know San Andreas can now be installed on any device.
I bought Wayward Souls from there. I only played it for 30 minutes for some reason, but it's awesome, especially if you have a controller. It's kind of like Legend of Zelda, but more RPG-ish.
I also bought the Final Fantasy games, then didn't play them because I don't like the Final Fantasy series, haha. They're good ports of DS games from what I heard, though.
Hoplite is really awesome. Try the free version on Google Play. It's a turn based strategy game which can be fast paced, and I don't even like the genre very much... But this game is awesome.
Finally, you should consider buying Geometry Dash. A friend told me about it a couple days ago. I downloaded the free version off of Google Play, and it's extremely awesome if you enjoy runner rhythm games like Bit.Trip Runner and HarmoKnight.

If you download (and play) Hearthstone through the Amazon Appstore you can use your Amazon Coins to buy Hearthstone card packs.

I think I already did this, since I pretty much owned all hose apps including SA. Ah well no worries, Amazon's App Store always seems lacking in having worthwhile apps.

Thanks for the bump. I just saw this in my subscription folder right on time, as I had completely forgotten about these coins. I had a bit over 2400 so I ended up using 2350 coins on the following: Wayward Souls, Monument Valley, Steven Universe, Guardians of the Galaxy: The Universal Weapon, Rayman Fiesta Run, Game Dev Story, Threes.
