Considering games out this year here my list

Best JRPG: Persona 5
Best Horror: Resident Evil 7
Best Platform: Sonic Mania & Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
Best Open World: Yakuza 0
Best VR game: RE7/SuperHot VR
Best RPG: Torment: Tides of Numenera
Best Action: Uncharted: Lost Legacy
Best Visual Novel: Danganronpa V3 (still have to play, but the only that came out this year and bought... lol)

Still have to play Nier and Horizon on my backlog...

Monster Hunter XX for the Switch and Horizon: Zero Dawn.

A lot of games that came out this year didn't hold my attention very well.

For me it is

1. Prey
2. Observer
3. Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City (if you count)
4. Outlast II

And now I'm playing Cuphead and it is GREAT. Probably my second favourite game of the year.

Will buy Pillars of Eternity until the year comes to an end. Also Elex if the game turns out to be any good. Hoping Div: OS 2 for consoles soon.

My most anticipated games for this year were Mass Effect: Andromeda and maybe RDR 2 but for obvious reasons they aren't on the list. Andromeda is on sale for 20€, is it worth it? I really like the trilogy.

I have an Xbox One and have to say that my GOTY list would be bigger if I owned a PS4.
