Yeah, shame her career didn't ever really reach full stride, wouldn't have minded to see her in more movies like Girl Next Door. Guess she's content being a hockey wife.

Goes from Blue Velvet, to a small part in Death Becomes Her, to spokesperson for cosmetics company, to a small part in a Guy Maddin short.

Randolph Mantooth was the star of the TV show Emergency! which was big in the 1970s. He became something of a hearthrob, appearing in magazines aimed at teenage girls and whatnot.

After that, pretty much a few TV guest spots here and there as minor characters, and one Sci-Fi Channel movie.

He apparently makes his living traveling around the country giving speeches to firefighters.

Oblivion

Fetishing muscular manly men in skintight hosery
Hercules and Xena, and pretty much every major character on that show aside from Bruce Campbell.

edit:

Rider Strong did Cabin Fever, and Starship Troopers / Kim Possible in the voice-acting department. Apparantly he also directs movies.

I think you mean the dude who did Eric Matthews, not Shawn.

No, I meant Strong, but apparantly Will Friedle also does voice-acting including Kim Possible. Friedle's resume as a voice-actor is impressive though.

Huh, you're right. Had no idea Strong did the voice of Brick. Mind = blown

Poor Casper Van Dien. You hit cult status with Starship Trooper, then you did a bad Tarzan movie and now all you can do are straight-to-video Starship Tropper sequels.

Turns out you don't need to act if you marry rich. He is married to 'princess' Catherine Oxenberg, and just spends a lot of time with his children.

This is an bad example because he was a bad actor who got lucky with one movie (which was in need for a bunch of cheesy actors). He should have ridden the popularity of the movie and jump to day time drama right away.

I think he is happily marry with many kids now?

Meg Ryan. She was huge in the 80/90's, guaranteed to be a huge star, instead she hasn't done anything of interest in years.
Sleepless in Seattle seemed to be the beginning of the end, it cemented her cutesy love interest role and she killed her career trying to escape it.
But she gave us in the cut and for that I thank her.

Or she just became old? Hollywood has limited leading roles for females, and even less for women between 35 and 55. Look at Julia Roberts after Erin and Ocean's, Uma Thurman after Kill Bill, even Charlize Theron, Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman seem to have become second-tier. In that range I can only think of Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock in the category of people that still sell movies as the lead. They are too old to compete with the new starlets that attract a teenage audience (Stewart, Fox, Emma Watson, ...) or that are convincing enough in romantic rules (Reese Witherspoon, Zoeey Deschanel, ...) and too young to compete for the more mature female roles. That category is dominated by people like Judi Dench, Diane Keaton, Glenn Close, Helen Mirren or Meryl Streep.

Most of the female leads that have disappeared, have become famous because of their romantic roles, something you can also see with male leads. Action stars (Pitt, Cruise, Damon) and character actors (Depp) have a longer life as an actor, but there are less roles like that for females.

Well, let's see...

LeBlanc is now on 'Episodes' on Showtime... where he plays a maniac version of himself.
Aniston still does films... Horrible Bosses is the highlight of her career as a sex-crazed dentist that I need in my life.
Cox has Cougar Town.
Schwimmer... disappeared? I heard he was directing but I've no clue what he directs. Porn?
Kudrow's vanished.
Perry had Mr. Sunshine that was canceled. Dunno what he's up to now.
These guys made enough money to sit around and eat Twix all day.

Schwimmer directed a few movies. Run Fat Boy Run and Trust, he does cameos on tv every now and then. A friend of mine is his neighbor and says he's pretty happy with a light schedule after friends.

meg ryan killed her career and rep with her lips being injected like trout pouty hideosity.

julia roberts took time of to have kids. A lot of the women kind of do. I'm quite enjoying michelle pfeffiers return to the big screen.

nicole kidman has always been box office cancer. The only smart thing the woman did was being linked to TC.

if anything, the older Cameron Diaz gets, the worse she is. She was great in Bad Teacher but man, she is getting on!

Not exactly a one hit wonder but I do not see this man anywhere anymore.

Worst post ever. He's been around since the fucking 50's. He's just probably tired of the screen and wants family time. As is the case with many in here. Not everyone who acts does it because it's their passion. Some would prefer to spend time living life outside of the camera and make enough to do that and move on in life.

Perry has a new show coming up, but it looks like it'll be cancelled just as fast.

Tom Sizemore. He was in Saving Pvt Ryan and Heat, then next I saw him rehab. I guess dating the head of an escort empire can screw you up. Nah, he was probably screwed up already.
And another vote for Michael Madsen, who seems to come from the same school of acting. Did I see him in a Justin Beaver video? Ugh.

You know you hit rock bottom when you are in a movie with Henry Rollins
Pacino, De Niro and Keanu say hello.

There are some very curious choices in this thread. Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher? Kirsten Dunst? Harrison "The Man" Ford? Eddie Murphy?

You guys are high on some good shit.
