Did they ever fix the performance for the PC version, I remember reading it was spotty at launch.
I was speaking generally about all versions of the game but that makes sense.
Why couldn't they have made Saints Row 5?
I know it's an easy thing to say they should have made SR5, but at the same time I wanted something new. Be careful what you wish for, I guess
I legitimately don't think I've ever seen a game cut their price down that fast and that low on Steam.
Hit 20.39 after 3 months. This definitely has it beat.
Why couldn't they have made Saints Row 5?
They drove that series into the ground and personally I think that would have bombed too.
They gotta be like this while looking back on the decision to make this single player only
I don't necessarily think so. A natural step would've been a return to the roots of SR2. It didn't have to be a bigger and more extravagant superhero simulator.
Different games, different gameplay, different needs? In the Lawbreakers thread, some say that lack of single player killed it.
Which way do yall want it to be?
In full disclosure while I have had the game since launch I haven't really progressed that far but that's actually indicative of how boring the Fucking game is because I played SR 2, 3, 4 and GooH(with my normal Saints Row character thanks to a mod) for months none stop with multiple created characters.
They lost the plot pure and simple. Oh well at least they got Rockstar to step their game up.
It's 8 dollars in my region. I might pull the trigger.
It's out?
Wtf.
That was fast. Considering picking it up now.
She is the best character in the gamewow the first thing you see on the steam page is this
could this thing be any more unappealing
And while co-op would be fun in theory, I'm honestly uncertain if that could actually work without severely hurting the existing core gameplay loop. To survive the more difficult battles you're switching through characters extremely rapidly, and in terms of scale you're already fighting dozens of opponents at once. I suppose it could work just like co-op can work in tag-team fighting games, where one player always sits out the action, but I don't think many players would be happy with that.
Christ I hope they don't call it that.
How about a multiplayer patch?

Well yeah that's what happens when you literally throw out the entire formula you had that worked and try to change it all.

This is not Gearbox game...Gearbox is so edgy.
