That is LITERALLY the devkit controller. If you think this looks visually bad, you should see the devkit.

And whoever took those images apparently didn't notice the "barcodes". Nice job announcing who you are to Amazon, guys.

EDIT: I should clarify that I know this because I've held one. I won't tell whose, but it's okay-ish comfortable. Handles are a bit small.

Thank goodness, that would be one ugly control if that design was final.

Those pictures made me realize that I really don't want the Amazon logo prominently displayed anywhere in my house, on anything.

It's like if I had a "Wal-Mart" branded Television, or a "Best Buy" branded mouse & keyboard. It's automatically slapped with the label of being a cheap, budget piece of hardware.

It may be shallow, but I will never own this device.

EDIT: The Kindle is fine, because it is in fact a cheap, budget piece of hardware.

The Kindle Fire has about the best processor and screen you can get on a tablet.

Will be interesting to see how the game side of things does. I don't really think people are looking at set top boxes like Roku, Apple TV, or this to play games on. I guess it depends on if they position this as a game console first and foremost.
