I want to see M2K's Amiibo.
It doesn't know how to use items or play on any other stage than Final Destination.

When is Salty Bet going to switch to an all-Amiibo lineup?
Of course it's a Fox Amiibo
EXACTLY what I said when I scrolled down.
lol. It just had to be.
Yep, had to be Fox.
At this rate the new tourneys will be
Final Destination
No items
Fox Amiibo's only
Fox was a famously overused character in competitive Melee.I feel like I'm missing some crucial piece of intel here

I dont understand. Are these things moving? Are they very shophisticated robots able to play video games? I thought they were only figurines...
Amiibo have chips in them that communicate with WiiU when they're placed on a WiiU GamePad. What happens next depends on the game. In Smash Bros., they "come to life" in the game as a CPU-controlled character. You name this character, pick its color, customize its moves, modify its stats and abilities with equipment, and feed it gear to level it up faster. But the main way they level up is by fighting. They can fight with you, against you, against your friends, against each other, against other amiibo. And they learn from the people they fight. So if you taunt after getting a kill, they'll start taunting after a kill. If you chase a Smash Ball, they'll start to chase a Smash Ball. If you intercept someone offstage with a meteor smash, they'll start trying to do the same. Apparently, there have been lv. 50 amiibo who have four-stocked lv. 9 CPUs -- lv. 9 being the previous "highest difficulty." So amiibo are a fun way to create monstrous opponents or partners. They also find loot for you, like coins and trophies and custom gear. And they also look really cool on a shelf.I dont understand. Are these things moving? no.
you actually need a human to hold a controller. Then you put the amiibo nearby, and he sends telepathical waves to control your brain/fingers and play.
kinda like Ratatouille, but you know... better.
if the human try to resist, the amiibo will break his fingers.
Damn and all this this for £10. I guess that's all the nintendo R&D which didnt go into doing a next gen console which is finally paying off
Even unfed amiibo can apparently mop the floor with multiple lv. 9s, so yeah, I imagine they're great sparring partners. I haven't started training mine yet, though. That's hilarious. Makes Amiibos legit training dummies, eh?

Does this mean if I train an Amiibo and win a tournament I get the money?
How well does that learning part actually work?
I didn't really know about that, so I just had my amiibos level up by fighting each other while I watched tv or something.
Will my amiibos have a significant disadvantage?
Reminds me to of the last south park episode
It eats the prize poolDoes this mean if I train an Amiibo and win a tournament I get the money?
Yeah it's not hard to do well when you're cheating. This is... really not impressive. It's not hard to get a CPU to be able to beat a human opponent, considering you can program them to have perfect reactions and no habits. Also levelled Amiibos do more damage.
Poverty ass tv? Looks like a fighting game tournament standard Asus monitor to me.i like how a supposed tournament has poverty ass tv and seating. Class it up a bit, i know it's gaming but it looks like the set of an 80s porno

Stuck in Bayonetta 2? Can't get shake that blue shell in MK8? Have your amiibo take over for you. AmiiPlay... Coming soon...TBD 2015

Do unfed amiibos still get stat boost as I've mostly used mine in 8 player smash and they don't seem to do any extra damage compared to myself, level 9 random ai, or my friends.
Personally I'm still skeptical about the learning claims. I know for sure the IGN claim about learning to taunt after a kill is BS because my amiibo did that on its own.
Yes, they get damage boosts and I suspect knockback boosts.Do unfed amiibos still get stat boost as I've mostly used mine in 8 player smash and they don't seem to do any extra damage compared to myself, level 9 random ai, or my friends.
Yes, they also don't have landing lag which is hilariousDo unfed amiibos still get stat boost as I've mostly used mine in 8 player smash and they don't seem to do any extra damage compared to myself, level 9 random ai, or my friends.
