I just realized the reason why they went with the Famicom in the video is because the modem cord wouldn't work with the frontloader NES.

I think it's cool that Google suggests you stop in Hawaii so you can get some rest between steps 35 and 51. I wonder if they factor your resting time into the estimated total travel time of 36 days or so.

I Googled for this exact same thing; my current home in Tokyo to my family's home in Brooklyn. Love those intercontinental stages!
