Assassin's Creed III: Liberation |OT| VITA LA REVOLUTION

Multiplayer sounds pretty cool

(i didn't understand a word of it)

to me it sounds like a mini war manager system, where you can deploy "units of people" to places on a map... it sounds like some kind of near game.. sounds really boring..

So every disguise has its own range of awareness, nice.

Imma gonna seduce the fuck out of the city guards, I'm drowning in money haha!

Tiamant is really making me want this game a lot, and I already wanted it pretty badly, haha. I'm going to wait in getting it, though. I only played Assassin's Creed 1, and that was it. I have the Ezio Trilogy pre-ordered currently, so I'm going to play that then AC3, and then I'll get to this. Love, love, the way Liberation is looking, and escort missions don't bother me one bit.

Oh Aveline, you really come from a long line of assassins.

Seduce > shows boobs to guard.

This is really fun, when you seduce a guard a heart container pops up in his head, the heart starts to drain off and until that happens the guard will follow you. In my case follow me into a dark alley where I rip their head off.

Team Aveline, go!

That's exactly what I was hoping for.

Looks fucking amazing. Is the framerate solid?

Maybe I expected to much .. but a Strategy game is not what I expected at all... at least the single player content is great..

See, I figured when they said "multiplayer tailored to the Vita" that it wouldn't be traditional multiplayer, so I didn't have any hopes at all in regards to it. The Vita can handle traditional multiplayer stuff easily, but then they would not have said "tailored to the Vita". Why they say this is tailored to the Vita is beyond me, but oh well. Could be kind of cool. But like I said, I pretty much had no expectations about it. I won't say it wouldn't have been cool if it had multiplayer like AC3/Brotherhood, but that's not what we're getting.

So the interaction between the two games are just PSN Voucher unlocking? I don't need to mess around with Save files, connecting, transferring or anything?

That makes it much easier if true

I seduced another guard and when the heart disappeared he gave me 5 dollars.

I'm not your bitch, motherfucker! *kills guard*

Well they did say it would be "tailored to the Vita" so i wasn't expecting multiplayer the same as on consoles. I don't know what i was expecting, exactly, but it definitely wasn't conventional multiplayer

Slutty Aveline tutorial mission (meant to last 2 minutes, way to fun and made it 20)

Couldn't get a decent picture, but I counted more than 20 npcs on screen during this mission, good stuff.

Looks really good.

So it basically plays like any Assassin's Creed game, but on Vita. Yes?

Still haven't made any proper assassin mission but yes, the feeling is spot on.

My biggest surprise here are the loading times, almost non existant after the initial load (35s)

This game really needs to review, and sell well. If it doesn't than the only western third party support this platform will get are from indies.

Man, those screenshots really kind of ruin the magic. I always wondered how it looked so impressive in the trailers but now I see that they made massive cuts to image quality, texture filtering, and model complexity.

Still, it's impressive that they've managed to deliver a full-on AC experience.

Tiamant can you record any video? How its the framerate, is the sub-res alliasing really noticeable [i rarely noticed it in Golden Abyss], how big is the city?

I said it before and i'll say it again. I am probably more excited for this game than ACIII itself. And I don't even have a vita. (Will probably get the white one for myself as an early Xmas gift.)

Well consider also that you will be looking at those same images on a much smaller screen than your computer at the same res.

It's a Vita game. Save the complaints for when you actually see these graphics on the Vita's screen.

Does the story spoil any of the previous games? I own every AC except Revelations but never got that far in 1 and only played about an hour in 2. I don't have that much time to sit at a PC to catch up so I thought I would just skip them all and play this one?

*wolf whistle* That's amazing.

Ubisoft Sofia definitely deserves my money on this one.

No, the game looks way, way, WAY better than these pictures, First time on a roof in the morning was impressive, the only time I've been this impressed with Vita graphics is the canoe cave in Golden Abyss.

Believe me, this screens make no justice at all.

I'll give them this: graphically, this game is far ahead of what we got in Bloodlines on the PSP, and very far ahead of the Altair DS game. I really hope that people who thought portable AC games weren't worth playing, and who have never seen a Vita, give this game a try, and give the Vita a try. I want to see the Vita succeed!

I'd like to know this as well... this will be my first AC game.

Look at these. The size of these quoted screens is closer to what the game will actually look like on the Vita.

I'm just a bit disappointed to see those shots, that's all.

I just downloaded them on my Vita from the mobile GAF site. They look fantastic. I suggest you do the same.

And although those quoted images above me are not what it looks like on the Vita, it looks closer to those than it does the big blown up shots.

All this npc's don't go just walking around, so far I've seen people fighting, drunk (¿?), chopping wood, fixing buildings, eating, etc.

Even a fucking dog was licking its arse, biting its leg, playing with his master.

Details everywhere!

I want someone to interview the person whose job it is to animate a dog licking its own ass

Yeah, this is going to look stellar on the 5" OLED. Colors are also severely downplayed when not viewing the image/game on the Vita itself as well.

Looks much more impressive than Uncharted.

Bribing guards feels similar to summoning Yojimbo in FFX, you have to choose an amount and pray to the heavens that the guards aren't greedy bastards.

I thought that I was the only one thinking like that. Still, I'm sure that the sub-native res and low-res textures are less discernible on Vita's screen than how you see them here. The graphics should definitely look great on the Vita.

Wow, that is awesome. Great job, Ubi Sofia. :D

Damn..those screens look very good ! Can't wait to get my hands finally on it ! :)

Multi player looks kinda boring but I haven't expected something great, as long as single player is like the other AC games, I'm fine with that !

Welp, seems that the lady dress isn't god mode, if you run into poor neighbourhoods or places like the port some thugs will try to steal from you, good thing the game unlocked the hidden blades on that section.

First graphical issue, on the port section or anywhere near water some npc's pop in front of you and one building just appeared with a very cool trillion black dot effect.

Seriously, praises to the guy who animated the npc's: two slaves were arguing and another one was trying to keep them calm, I just passed nearby pushing one of them and they tried to kill me :'(

Surprisingly Ubisoft Vita games have held their prices pretty well in terms of getting price drops and going on sale. Whereas the console versions go on sale a month after. Definitely picking this up before AC3.
