I mostly just preordered Ratchet & Clank and Street Fighter V because they were $40 and $60 each respectively along with Uncharted 4 and Black Ops 3 to round out the order.

You won't get many games on release day (or before like BB sometimes), but I've never waited more than three days for a game from Amazon, and I'm in the GTA. Most times it ships on release day and I get it one day later.

Just take the free shipping option, once the game ships it will only take a day to get to you in the GTA, it's just that sometimes they don't ship it out right away.

When I picked Free shipping it changed the other option from shipping independently to shipping as a group when the whole order is avaliable.

I got one whole order which was split into two orders yesterday. I ordered it again and make some experiment. What I did is remove the 2 out of 3 games from the 2 of 2 shipment and it retained the discount for one game left on 2 of 2. Dunno why they are doing that but as long the discount is there I'm fine with it.

Yeah, I don't get it really. Sony had the near instant increase to $449, all their accessories were also increased. Xbox looks like the 1tb system will be $449 even though the original X0 pretty much mirrored US pricing. The sales have to be affected sooner or later. Currently I see you could buy a bunch of PS4 digital codes on amazon.com cheaper than buying here. Would be nice if those caught on more for both PS4 and Xbox as then I would buy digital instead from the US.

Does anyone from Edmonton have any experience with Amazon Prime? Do you get your orders 1-2 days after release? Any times that its delivered on release?

I signed up for the free trial (will sign up once it lapses) and tried to change my order but it wouldn't let me. I had set the shipping to Priority shipping and then contacted customer service. They waived the shipping fee on my two pre orders on priority shipping.

Just to be 100% clear, I can pre-order Xenoblade X, Zelda Wii U and.... something coming out in 2016 (SMT X FE!!!) on Amazon.ca, then cancel the rest of the order after I get Xenoblade and call it a day? They'll charge me once they ship my order of Xenoblade X at $69.99 - 30%, then once I cancel the rest it'll just disappear (If I really feel like cancelling... I want those games though so might keep them, but need to be sure I'll have the option)?

FYI, I was able to convince Amazon support to drop the price of the Rock Band 4 bundle by 30% manually. I said that I was unable to apply the discount, he asked for the item and confirmed it was because it was ineligible, I said that it was eligible for Best Buy's E3 sale and that other items with accessories like Skylanders bundles were eligible, and he went for it. Made sure to mention the deal stipulation on price dropped items in chat too in case it somehow gets a later markdown. YMMV

Yes, it will do that... but they don't actually follow it.

They will ship your games as they become available. Otherwise, the 10+ games I received last year would still be waiting for Halo 5 and Quantum Break to release. ;-)
