So a downloadable version of AA5 would be acceptable if it was $7.99?
Well to me kinda. Here's why... I consider digital downloads to just be throw away content of little to no value. I never want my games to feel like they have no value. I want AA to succeed, and cutting off your fanbase as seen in this thread is a death sentence from paying customers.
My backlog is mostly digital PSN (Plus too) games that I just kind of forget about and do not have an attachment value to me.
Same with my music, movies, books, etc.. When you come to my place, see & browse my libraries of media it tells a story. I like the tactile feel, the physical browsing. It triggers memories, I have a photographic memory so it's even better.
Sure I've purchased some digital DLC, a Steam account of 20 titles, but any of those $5-$10 at most. I just consider them like a rental that I will lose.
I know I'll probably loose this battle eventually. Then that's when I reach back into my collection of NES to present discs & cartridges and close my wallet.
