Seems like they'll have a decent amount of info for people attending or watching TGS this year. However there doesn't seem to be much room for any new reveals so I wouldn't expect too much. Monster Hunter panels should just continue to give us a new look at the game. The Marvel vs Capcom stuff might show us new DLC characters and the RE panel should hopefully give us a new look at the DLCs and quality of the Revelations Switch Port.

The most interesting panels by far are the Mega-man and Dragons Dogma panels.
Dragons Dogma doesn't have Itsuno there and instead the DDO director. While it's nothing solid. Since the panel is for the 5th anniversary seems that whatever Itsuno is working on probably won't be related to Dragon's Dogma.

Mega-Man panels should hopefully give us a better idea on what we should expect to see in the next year. It's been a long road. But between the new TV show and movie annoucnement seems a game is on the horizion. While they might not announce said game at TGS. Hopefully they leave enough hints that the 30th anniversary will be more than just merchandise.

I guess the lack of a SFV mention means that they probably won't show off Zeku at TGS. Granted, I was expecting October for Zeku's release so it wouldn't overlap with MvCI this month. But with all the activity going on with the Steam test build & whatnot, it got some thinking that maybe we'll get Zeku this month.

Hmm... interesting to see them actually give a shit about DD's 5th anniversary.

I'd say there's hope for DD2 at some point but MHW is making that feel less and less likely.

Very weird not to have Itsuno there though, it was his dream project.

However there doesn't seem to be much room for any new reveals so I wouldn't expect too much.

If there are any announcements/reveals they will probably be during Sony's conference.

Same goes for SNK and many others.

Good to see we're getting new monster announcements for World. Hopefully, there's a new species waiting to be unveiled.

I didn't even realize the lack of SFV here. Probably wanted to give MVC the spot light. SFV seems like a good fit for PSX though. Especially if they're doing another tournament there.

Any chance that we'll get Ace Attorney 7 announced at that section? Spirit of Justice took 3 years but I think that had to do with the director getting burned out after Dual Destinies.

I was more referring to the reveal of the final Season 2 character, Zeku (Guy's master). What you're talking about is Season 3, which would probably be shown off at PSX.

This is it guys, this is where the Street Fighter compilation announcement will happen, I am pretty sure that here at: Gameescon , PAX, TGS will happen!

Mega Man Legacy Collection 3, featuring Wily to Right no Rockboard, Rockman and Forte (Wonderswan) and Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge.

Monster Hunter World would be the main event for me, unless somehow something comes out of the Dragon's Dogma stage.

Wonder how much more can they possibly reveal without overshowing? The town hub? More monsters and environments?

There's no way they announce a Dragon's Dogma 2 with World being this close, so probably talk about the PS4One version and more content for DDOnline.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Really looking forward to MH World and of course a surprise RE2make trailer or something.

Also, as much as pretty much everyone on GAF hated it .. I'm looking forward to DR4 on PS4.

If they're moving to Switch, I imagine it might take longer this time. If not, then it's probably a good idea to get it out as soon as possible. I'm not expecting anything, but you never know.

If the reveal is at TGS then it would probably be during the invitational tournament.

The recent Ace Attorney games run on MT Framework, so Capcom probably won't have to spend as much time updating the game's assets for AA7 on the Switch.

Oh right, I almost forgot about that. I guess that would make sense, especially since we got our Menat reveal during a CPT event.

They confirmed new monsters outright, but I'm guessing that they'll be tied to showing off the third biome. If I was a betting man, I would assume it's going to be the usual swampy marshland area, which would give them a good opportunity to announce the ever-popular Zinogre as one of the returning monsters.

Been wondering about that also, has it been debunked already or is it still happening?

Isn't Monster Hunter: World also coming to Xbox One?

2011 Ace Attorney Investigations 2
2012 Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
2013 Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Dual Destinies
2014
2015 Great Ace Attorney
2016 Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Spirit of Justice
2017 Great Ace Attorney 2

Yeah we are definitely due one (hopefully) next year or the year after that. Unless they decide to take a break since Spirit felt like end of another trilogy for the franchise.

And a new one coming out near the release of the cartoon iirc?

Well, the announcement was last fiscal year, and it said that this fiscal year they would have four flagship mobile titles in brands such as Monster Hunter, Mega Man, and Sengoku Basara.

That left one mystery game, but I have to assume the mystery game was Puzzle Fighter (which isn't one specific brand).

We haven't seen the other three and they haven't mentioned them in a while, so it's not clear if they got canned, or are just not unveiled yet.

Looking forward to seeing more of MHW and the Switch versions of RE: Revelations.

SFV has been out for almost 2 years now so a stage presence wouldn't really make sense. If anything was announced I think it would be first teased on social media and then revealed via a trailer/blog as usual.

They have so little this year, and of their line-up one game is just a patch and two games are late ports of games that just came out (and came out years ago).
