One more week before the playoff selection committee opens the envelope, announces "Boise State, Marshall, Colorado State and UAB (might as well send them out in style)," flips a bird to the P5 conferences and drops the motherfucking mic.

This doesn't directly relate to college football, but it's still an interesting article regarding alcohol, students, alumni tailgating, Jimmy Williamson of UGA police (aka the bane of the football team's existence), education, etc. In short, Athens has a ton of bars in a small area and they sell tons of cheap booze to students every night.

One thing I don't understand about the GS and App St situations (they are technically bowl eligible too I believe) is during their last year of FCS competition, they couldn't be in the playoffs regardless of record. So if they are already missing one post season in the last FCS year, why do they have to miss again in their first year of FBS competition? I understand if the schedule is riddled with FCS teams because they couldn't get enough FBS qualifying wins, but App St went 6-2 in the Sun Belt, those are all FBS schools. I'm sure GS played and won enough FBS victories to qualify.
