Dodgers have lost 16 of 18, the Indians have won 21 straight...and the Dodgers somehow still have 3 more wins than Cleveland. That's baseball for you.
This makes the 21 meaningless game win streak seem so much more important.

There's a team that technically has a 26 game streak, but they had a tie game in the middle of that streak so it's bullshit.
The Cleveland Browns have won 21 games since sometime in 2011 to now
Just a note, the following Indians have been on the disabled list for the entire streak:
Jason Kipnis, 2B, All-Star
Michael Brantley, OF, All-Star
Andrew Miller, RP, All-Star
They have been replaced by these players that you have likely never heard of:
Giovanny Urshela (via JRamirez moving to 2B)
Greg Allen, OF
Tyler Olson, RP
ehhh... every single season I would rather my team win the championship then have a record breaking regular season streak.
Ask GSW fans from last year and 07 Patriots fans if they prefer breaking records or winning championships.
the record is 21
that Giants streak was 12 wins, then a tie, then 14 more wins
neither of which is even in the top 25 actual winning streaks of all time
Unlike football or hockey a tie game in baseball has no implication whatsoever on the standings, it's effectively no different than a game that was called before 5 innings were played. Games ending in ties were fairly common in the old days of baseball because teams didn't start installing lights until the 30s-40s and could not be played to completion if the score was tied when it got dark out, usually when this happened the game would be re-played to a decision later or just ignored entirely if it had no implication on the pennant race, either way the Giants' 26 game winning streak should still count as such
As long as they still use Chief Wahoo on their uniforms and caps ffffffuck Cleveland forever. I hope they lose in the playoffs.
It doesn't count as such and nobody believes it does.
It's considered the longest unbeaten streak. Because that's exactly what it is. They didn't lose any games, but they didn't win them all either. That's just an objective fact, regardless of excuse for why it would have been called a draw.
unbeaten streak != winning streak.

There was a thread a couple months back asking why there are so many games in a baseball season... this is why.
The game didn't count, it doesn't exist. There are no ties in baseball. If the game didn't count in the standings it's not a game. Again, it's no different than if the Indians next game was rained out after a couple of innings and was postponed or cancelled. That wouldn't be considered the end of their winning streak.
