I'm having trouble getting anything on the Panasonic website (getting hammered for these deals I guess). I do work at Dell so I don't know if I would qualify for the EPP. If i can't get in I think I'll just go with the Aquos.

Ended up ordering that 32" Sharp Aquos for my small business ( Insurance Office) it was sorta an impulsive purchase but I had a zero balance on my Dell account and it seemed like a really good deal.

i was all ready to jump on the Dell Streak deal for $300, till i noticed that it was bundled with a two-year ATT contract.

this is like every other Monday :(

Is the Panasonic EPP thing still the best place to get a nice respectable 42 - 46" tvs this holiday season? Are those really sales though or just solid standard prices?

Should I wait till post-christmas sales? I'm in no rush really.

EPP prices are normally ~$100-$200+ cheaper than Amazon.

For a 32" TV, you really wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p

If you want to get LG, Amazon has a better deal I think:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0039RRCJ8/?tag=neogaf0e-20

People keep saying this, and to a certain extent, I'm sure it's true, but what if you also use you TV as a computer monitor? Then that 1080p/720p makes a HUGE difference when your screen need to be different resolutions and window sizes need to be adjusted. It's actually a pain in the ass and wish I had ponied up a little extra for a 1080p 32" screen.
*I should probably add that I use my 32" as a second monitor mostly for netflix and other shows and videos I watch*
also

Logitech Z-5500 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers - $199.99 (after $100 mail in rebate)
http://www.frys.com/search?search_t...g=logitech+z-5500&submit.x=0&submit.y=0&cat=0

Those speakers usually sell for anywhere from $350 - $400 and get high ratings from every source I've read. Been looking for a deal on them six about 6 months back and missed the deal on them back on Friday.

Booyakasha! Check it. I'm looking to get a desktop PC without a monitor for $500-600.

Light gaming. Mostly using for audio production. Recording and editing. Use of VSTs, interfaces and whatnot. Latency problems with my current piece of shit 8 year old PC are making recording a serious pain in the ass.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Going Windows 7 64bit was a mistake for me. Some of my vsts don't work...updates may never happen. Some of my software doesn't work. It runs slow when it comes to audio software (still have sound hiccups) and sound cards don't like windows 7 either.

So you're saying... go Windows XP if possible?

My mom couldn't tell the difference between 240i and 1080p. She has a nice filter called bad eye sight :lol. I ended up buying a 42 inch Panasonic 1080p LCD for 480. Now I have to buy an arm mount for the thing when it comes in (since it's a lot bigger than the initial 32 I was planning on getting).

Didn't work on Heroes blu-ray :(

I think it may only work on the Blu-ray movies and the DVD versions of TV series, not Blu-ray TV shows. I edited my post to clarify.

Amazon wont adjust for lightening deals, if you old order hasnt shipped yet cancel it, and then order it off lightening deal, if it did ship youre SOL.
