That's the thing that frustrates me the most, Colin Kaepernick's original message and intent for kneeling has been obfuscated because of the fucking shit-for-brains president didn't take the time to understand his POV and the reasons and meanings behind the protest. Instead the orangutan decided to ONLY worry about the arbitrary notions of "disrespect to the flag", and the oft-forgotten history of the anthem being embedded in racism. That's the hill he decided to die on.
The rest of the NFL can fuck off too. It took an orangutan telling you that athletes should be fired for expressing their beliefs to fight back and half-assed normalize making a statement during the anthem, while all of you bashed Kaepernick for doing that same exact thing. Only difference being he made a statement in the most humble way, and yet he was still crucified for being "disrespectful." Ray Lewis especially can go fuck right off for being a hypocritical cunt. "Just protest differently!" uttered many times on Undisputed.
