Figured I'd make the thread as trailer compilation is already up.

SAKUNA looks really interesting, mix of Vanias with Harvest Moon elements? Looking forward to hearing impressions about the demo how it plays.

Oh god already forgot the name Cavvy House is the most interesting vive game I've seen in ages. The grappling hook clone of that popular platformer also looks cool. Both pf them. The metal soundtrack shmup is also awesome. Hopefully cavvy house comes to Steam.

Thanks for sharing.
I always enjoy watching the trailers for games that come to comiket and it's a huge part of the Japanese indie dev scene that doesn't have that much exposure in the west yet.

Always excited for music too, Comiket truly is best time of the year.

Some mentions from the trailer compilation video:
Capricorns Rockman-.. Rock Maiden 3 looks awesome, Touhou seems to work well with Megaman too.
Under the Guns Rappeling Action game has really interesting concept but seems really work-in-progress, reminds me of Umihara Kawase.
Enzians 3D Action Horror was too spooky for me, I swear I've seen some of those models in music videos etc. Looks good though and hoping to hear more about it.
BlackBastard is back again! GHost9Solid looks as great as his earlier games, I really wish someone would pick these games up and bring them more available to West, would love to give them a try.
stage of Arisu could be fun rhythm game, not usually my genre but Miracle Girls Festa opened it up for me a little last year so keeping my eyes open for them now.

Not too much resonated this time oddly enough---only definite one to activate my "carpe fulgur/fruitbat factory/playism/etc please~" reflex was Witch Ring Meister...though obviously the shooters towards the end (Cambria and the other(vertical) that I think has shown up before), Sorcerers, and apparently some kind of sequel to Rime Berta also looked nice and you'd think the latter at least has to have a fighting chance of doing some globe trotting considering.

- Rock Maiden 3 caught my attention because of fond MegaMari memories, though the production values look lower. Bonus points for having Hina as a boss.
- If PENTAMAGIC is a 2D RPG with hori shmup battles then that's highly relevant to my interests.
- Not entirely sure what the Nonuple Nine thing's supposed to be, though it's a striking trailer. I looked around and found this but it didn't really clear anything up.
- This is the kind of cover art that'd sell me on something even if it's garbage. Good thing too, since the game itself didn't look particularly remarkable.
- stage of Arisu seems to have taken its inspiration from iM@S Starlight Stage. The lead's a stylish dresser though, so it's forgivable.
- Some of the Cambria Sword enemies immediately made me think of the Darius shmups.
- Nothing new from PlatineDispositif? Disappointing if so. Couldn't see anything on their website either.

Overall it was more interesting than the C89 trailer video, though that wasn't a high hurdle to clear.

At first it was only about Touhou for me (4/5 years ago) but I'm (willing to) find some interesting games nowadays.

A friendly reminder to preempt some posts that usually show up in these threads based on the title: "Doujinshi" just means self-published. A lot of porn is self-published but not every self-published work is porn.

Goddammit, Quakecon really made me have quite a Youtube backlog between this and my usual subscriptions.

Really boring this time, a lot of stuff that'd fit on Jim Sterling's channel... I wonder if Bitsummit is siphoning the talent away from Comicon?

- Nothing new from PlatineDispositif? Disappointing if so. Couldn't see anything on their website either.

Looks like their current project is releasing Bunny Must Die on the PS4 and Vita.

game looks incredibly good, even the farming stuff!

Hope it gets released in english sometime in the future.

@16m: that splash looks a tooooooooooooooooooooooon like Cold Steel
then gets REALLY cold steel later.

Cambria Sword looks neat

Yup, Cavy bringing that kaleidoscope antics; didn't expect Vive though.

Sakuna looks cool. Reminds me of Muramasa/Bionic Commando/No More Heroes rolled into one from what little I saw.
