Yeah like people said Namco being the 4th biggest publisher on the list but Dark Souls 2 and The Witcher 3 are no where to be found. Something is not adding up here.

Nope. Witcher had also strong start in practically every European country and has been in top 10 in german charts since its release. It's simply impossible that it would have sold under 400k and not to made that list.

And Dying Light didn't even release in germany. I think they should consider a release here, Mortal fucking Kombat X got rated.

Total sales value, it seems, where Minecraft counts as one game for sorting purposes.

Of the dozens of games I bought the last year, I think only 3 of them were from Europe. Everything else I buy digitally somewhere overseas.

Something is wrong, We can pretty much guarantee from the Biu Awards (Witcher 3 had more than 200000 on PS4 in Germany alone until June), info from England etc that the Witcher would have easily sold more than enough that it would be in the top 20.

hmmm that would be strange, why would they know the definite total sales value but not know the amount of units sold? The other way around would be more likely imo

For me the odd one is Far Cry4. That's what i would have expected for the Witcher 3. And Ubi isn't really that high in the Publisher List. But than again, even if it seems a bit much Far Cry had to be somewhere lower in the Top 20 since it definitely would have sold more than say Dragon Age etc.

It's ranked by the Sales Value column. Minecraft is represented by two rows both in 9th place, add the sales value for those two rows and the table is perfectly sorted.
It is Sales Value, you are just confused because of the 2 publishers with Minecraft.
Minecraft got separated into 2 spots by publisher to clarify the numbers, but it's still how much Minecraft sold, not how much Sony's Minecraft or Microsoft's Minecraft sold

because Nintendo is carrying their two platforms, while everyone else is split among PS4/XB1
from a platform perspective, think of it as 3DS+Wii U having slightly more than 12.57% (cause there are some 3rd parties, even if insignificant)
Because all Nintendo software has great legs and sells for a long period over time over multiple platforms and the games hold their value.
It's worth noting that Bloodborne was hard to get at launch. I remember wanting to buy it on launch evening and it was impossible to find even a single version locally. First time I bought a full price download on consoles.
