Grandia 2 made me sad, but I would never cry at a video game.
I know the feel, I wish I could have spent $60 for it too.I cried because I spent 15 dollars on it.

I had tears because of the end and because there was no trailer like episode 1 had for 2.The end of Episode 2 made me think "where the hell is Episode 3, this is the best (most aggravating) cliffhanger in a video game."
i rented it. i'm the reason there's no nier 2! :'(
Was 428's story really that good?
1. Final Fantasy X (Square Enix, PS2, 7/19/2001)
I'm not Japanese but I have to say I was beginning to tear up. That ending song just nailed it.Okami: "If you didn't cry at the end, you're not Japanese."
Who was the one who had the tag that linked to Opoona vs. White Knight Famistu scores? It was something like, "That's just cold, son." Searching is no help.
I agree with the first one.
No FFVIII makes me sad though, I showed no emotion when playing XIII.
VIII is my favourite FF but is there really a scene with tear-jerking potential? Maybe at the end (because i don't want it to end).
Everyone who laughs at FFX being number 1 on that list played it in English.
I must be in the minority, cause i found nothing wrong with the VOIn a world where FFX has a film quality voice track for the English version, it'd probably be second to only FFVII in international popularity for the series. The Japanese version of FFX is a completely different experience.

Obligatory.Everyone who laughs at FFX being number 1 on that list played it in English. The poor dub work really destroyed the story for the western versions.

English Auron >>>>>>>>>>> Japanese AuronI watched some of the stuff before that, and holy shit the JP VA work is 10000000x better.
Wtf? No fucking game ever made me cry.
The only 2 movies that almost made me cry are "The Lion King" and "Titanic".
Famitsu readers must be very young.
Surprisingly, movies have never made me cry. I watched Lion King too young, so I didn't comprehend exactly what was going on I think.
Toy Story 3, on the other hand... so close. So close.
I don't see why that's a problem. There are genuinely tear-jerking animu out there. Too bad that 95 percent of it is eh.Also too much animu.

Seriously don't think any game has ever made me cry.
The closest I've come is at the end of Xenosaga 3. And even that didn't make me tear up, I just got slightly emotional.
I really couldn't see myself ever crying over a game with the way they tell stories these days.
