Snobby? Maybe. Wrong? Not entirely.

I'm not suggesting we stop guessing Wii U and 3DS, but 3DS is already a chore to get numbers for, and we only get Wii U because it's classified as 8th gen with PS4/XB1.

Almost. Since we're basing this off of the 157K monthly gap between PS4/XB1, the Wii U has a 69.56K in the console-only graph and 69.49K in the full graph. Since the console-only graph should provide a clearer picture with less constituents, going with that one's 70K for the predictions, then. Also, XB1 is 249K in both, so the results used for predictions are below.

Since now we should have PSV sales all months, can we add it in the predictions thread as well?

Maybe like Wii U, it won't be use for the points result, but we can predict it... Just for fun. :D

It's alive, and I think that's about as much as Nintendo can ask for. Nintendo can at least sell something this year before November, and that's a better situation than some people think they're in. Not exactly a good situation to be in, but they have to deal with the cards they currently have.

Guess we have different perspectives on that number meaning "alive".

Argh terrible month for me.
I understimated both PS4 and XB1 (although I pretty much guessed the gap) but the 3DS killed me. Nintendo sales are totally erratic :p

How about, PS4 is an Olympic athlete, XB1 is a healthy jogger, 3DS is an old man trying to stay in shape as long as he can, Wii U is in a coma, and I don't want to think about what that would make the Vita.

Very much so. Only 3 people predicted close or above the actual sales, so the expectations were a lot lower even with the special edition releases this month than the actual sales. DS heydays are behind us. Well behind us.
