Okay whatever these dolls are doin in this Touhou fighter looks pretty neat for setups and shenanigans. I need to play more of these things. Especially as a fan of bullet hell.

If you're familiar with Blazblue's Mu-12's bits, Alice's dolls are fairly similar. She can set dolls in various positions via various directional inputs + C when grounded or in the air, and they fire a short burst of bullets (C pressed) or a penetrating laser (C held) after a delay. They remain on the screen after firing and can interact with some of her specials. One turns them into stationary spinning blades, and another shoots a beam that snakes between them before flying towards the opponent. When leveled up via activating corresponding skill cards, she can have more set dolls on the field at a time in addition to damage and duration increases.

From the vid it looked like Alice could zipline herself to any of the dolls at will which is what I found neat. In one instance she had been knocked down and while in knockdown started sliding towards a doll to avoid getting cornered. Shit looked mad useful.

First to one allows more time for advertisements to bring in those eSports dollaridoos

It was only first to one the first round, rest of the tournament was first to three(if this is about KoF). Regardless, how does it allow more ad time when the down time between games is the same?! If anything, they can get ads space between rounds in 1st to 3, and thus more ad time!

I don't think she has any zipline moves, but mobility in the game is generally pretty good with universal jump/super jump and eight-way double air dashes. There's also universal neutral/front/back techs off a grounded knockdown, which is what you're probably seeing there: the animation for Alice's has one of her dolls dragging her away to the new position.

Kbeast keeps rockin Soki on this weeks TVC dolphin tourney. He's been in Oni Mode multiple times but he's strugglin to find a point to absorb the souls he produces by hitting folks in that mode. If he can absorb them he can hit the rarest super in the game...ONI CUTTER.

Hoping to see it. He's close.

Excellent matches this week from the TVC dolphin stream in Grand finals. Lgrinta and Kbeast swung back and forth like crazy. A really crazy series of matches that lasted nearly 30 minutes. Man you know UMVC3 netcode is fucked when Dolphin TVC plays better once its shader cached lol.
