As much as I love seeing more of DC, I think we should stop sharing this stuff... it's a closed beta :/
Same here. Lets respect the devs.
LOOKS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!

It could also be due to the TVs they had setup there but all the driveclub demo stations looked the same to me. Everyone was using the cockpit view by the way, and the vehicle interior itself was just a jaggie mess.seriously? I just downloaded a direct feed video of the beta the other day and it looked clean as a whistle. minimal to no jaggies...
A Driveclub thead Glam hasn't posted in yet? Surprising.
Taken from the same person who gave this a couple days ago: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=127683762#post127683762
The videos are in a 2.26 GB rar hosted on Mega. I will not upload these on YouTube or whatever.

Same video but lighting changes are beautiful. From the stormy weather vid. I wish I could upload a longer gif but minus has a 10MB limit.
Unless the physics have changed dramatically since I played it, it does not lean towards realism. Its firmly in the PGR camp of driving models. Not super arcade, but nowhere near a sim, either.
Just watched all the videos. My opinions based on them.
+ Amazing lighting and overall visuals.
+ Excellent sense of speed and vehicle response.
+ Excellent and fun track design with lots dynamism and range in speed, cornering, elevation changes etc.
+ Astonishing degree of environmental density.
+ Some truly breathtaking vistas and draw distance (especially Munnar).
+ Lots of tertiary visual reward (balloons, debris, confetti, birds, crowds etc).
+ Aggressive and rewarding AI opponents.
+ Sublime audio work with great vehicular individualism.
+ Good mix of vehicle view options.
+ HUD'less racing.
- Still some IQ issues and aliasing that pop up on power lines, the tops of cars etc.
- A few textures here and there could still do with some work.
- No mechanical damage.
My main and only real fear for this game now is it having a lack of content and longevity. With the fairly low number cars, and no proper tuning or upgrade options, I just hope it isn't all over too soon. Luckily there does seem to be a solid number of tracks and locations, and we're still yet to see the race tracks which Evo have said are in the game. The dynamic weather and time of day should add massively too. Either way, I have the full retail game pre-ordered and it's one of my most anticipated titles of the year.

Can I be the Debbie downer and moan about the blatant ignorance towards the NDA?
We were even sent a reminder about this shit and yet people still ignore it.
Fuuuuuuck
Hell yeah.

I don't see why anyone should care about that.
ot: downloading
They nailed the "cloudy but sunny at the same time" lighting.
Because it's the conditions you agree to before getting access to the download code. As far as I see it it's Sonys/Evolutions game and they should get to choose what to show prior to release.
Plus it's damaging to the beta community, if people could actually adhere to NDAs we'd get more betas. Ok, so thats of no significance to anyone without beta status so you have no reason to care, but it's in my interest so I'm allowed a moan

Yeah they did I really hate that look to it so ominous! They nailed the "cloudy but sunny at the same time" lighting.
This one is just mad.
I still play the shit out of PGR4 and it has a similar amount of content. If a game is fun, you'll play it just because it is and not just to beat the game or a score or whatever. Same with mechanical damage... kind of gets rid of the trolls who'll be just out to ruin your car/run, but I didn't miss it in the PGR games.Just watched all the videos. My opinions based on them.
