1. Black Mesa Source ; Prove that great level and set piece design can carry a game no matter how old is, best FPS this year an its 14 year old greybeard.
2. New Super Mario Bros. U; feel kind of dirty inside to go with this. Between the feel of an expansion pack with super old assets to the indeniable explotation of the franchise. With a single player mode that seems to get worthwhile after some hours in. Why? Challenges. Pure joyful gameplay like few games can achieve.
3. Xcom; A role model on how to revive and old classic. For the most part it satisfy both veterans and newcomers alike.
4. Orcs Must Die 2; ones of the most adicting Tower Defense games gets even better.
5. Xenoblade Chronicles; Your thoughts on Game D.
6. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition; This RPG doesn't suck a dwarf's cock, intead it plows the majority of other so called mature ones. A well driven narrative, interesting dialogues and some choices await those who delve into this adventure. It's a better game than the first one yet not as much interesting.
7. Alan Wake; A well crafted game, pure and simply this could be considered a role model of what a good game is. Nothing extraordinary or original but so well executed.
8. Game G ; Your thoughts on Game G.
9. Game H ; Your thoughts on Game H.
10. Spec Ops: The Line ; I' ve planned an honorable mention for this but it made the list since i did not play many games this year. Nothing extraordinay gameplay wise but it's a valient effort because it tries to elicit some thoughts about what the player consumes, his responsabilities and role in the videogame medium.
