My list will seem totally crazy to some of you but whatever
1. Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure ; It's original, it's charming, the gameplay is fun, it's varied, it's very good looking, it has some issues with the way the game rates your performance but aside of that it's the best Sega game since Valkyria Chronicles. I'm gonna put it this way, it's as if a Sega dev team made this game in 2000 or even earlier, and instead of releasing it at that time, they decided to use a time machine to send it to year 2012, it's awesome, and it came out of nowhere, which makes it doubly awesome.
2. Hotline Miami ; The gameplay, the music, the style, I loved all of it.
3. ZombiU ; It's the best launch game I've ever played, and it's a great Survival Horror game, has some really good ideas, it just needed a little bit more of polish.
2011 GOTY: Dark Souls
