gotta post to sub so I'll try to say something somewhat valuable:

Haven't loved too much hip-hop this year. Only thing I've really lost myself in is KA. But the year isn't over yet!

GKMC was obviously a better put together project than Section 80, but I just cant go back and bump it like I can with S80. Replayability factor makes me put it over GKMC

Section 80 was great.

I understand people find it boring because most of it isn't hype music, and it being more jazz sounding outside of a few tracks.

I feel like Section 80 kinda brings you into the world how he views it, and pushing the HiiiPower movement. Apart from GKMC presenting how it was for him growing up.

The sound from S80 to GKMC changed a lot more than I thought it would. Gotta give credit to some of the in house TDE producers.. They have very versatile beats.

I still listen to Overly Dedicated and the Kendrick Lamar EP. Really good tracks on both.

P&P grew on me so much it's crazy. Heard it before I started listened to Ab-Soul and didn't care for it, then jumped to my top 10 Kendrick tracks.

My top 10 King Kenny tracks would probably be (no order):
Money Trees
P&P
ADHD
The Spiteful Chant
Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe
M.a.a.d City
The Heart pt. 2
Sing About Me
Swimming Pools
Cartoons and Cereal

What about y'all?

Can't believe I forgot about that one smh

Alright guys, I'm seeing Action Bronson and Danny Brown tonight. Help me get prepared. Your top 5 songs from each, noting the producer. So hyped!!!

I don't rank songs so here are just five good songs from them:
Action Bronson:
"Shiraz" produced by Tommy Mas
"Miss Fordham Road '86 '87 '88" produced by Statik Selektah
"Jar of Drugs" produced by Harry Fraud
"Bitch I Deserve You" feat. Evidence produced by The Alchemist
"9-24-1" produced by Party Supplies

Danny Brown:
"Need Another Drink" produced by Mainframe
"Guitar Solo" produced by Quelle
"Contra" w/ Elzhi produced by Apollo Brown
"30" produced by SKYWLKR
"Cyclops" (I don't know who produced this)

I don't think Ghosts Supreme Clientele deserves to be top 20.
Wu Forever should take its place.

Edit: wait what!!!!! Supreme Clientele is up, but not Ironman?

That's not right. Ironman is a top 3 wu album.

Iron Man is good, Supreme is better, it changed the game.

I love good kid. Totally describes a particular situation

All I see is strobe lights, blinding me in my hindsight
Finding me by myself, promise me you can help
In all honesty I got time to be copacetic until
You had finally made decision to hold me against my will
It was like a head on collision that folded me standing still
I can never pick out the difference and grade a cop on the bill
Every time you clock in the morning, I feel you just want to kill
All my innocence while ignoring my purpose to persevere as a better person
I know you heard this and probably in fear
But what am I supposed to do with the blinking of red and blue
Flash from the top of your roof and your dog has to say woof
And you ask, "Lift up your shirt" cause you wonder if a tattoo
Of affiliation can make it a pleasure to put me through
Gang files, but that don't matter because the matter is racial profile
I heard them chatter: "He's probably young but I know that he's down"
Step on his neck as hard as your bullet proof vest
He don't mind, he know we'll never respect, the good kid, m.A.A.d. city

BTW, that Ag Da Coroner track is nice, but I wasn't feeling Prize Fighters...Good beats, and some decent lines, but these guys don't have any swag (charisma). Boom-Bap without flair is the most boring shit ever to me.

Damn, these are some really good picks. I've never heard "Jar of Drugs" before. Damn, should've been on Saaab Stories. But yeah, Action has worked with some great producers.

Downloading that Danny + Yayo tape now, never heard it. 30 is a great pick off XXX. And Apollo Brown nailed Contra, which I should expect since I love The Brown Tape and Dice Game. Couple dope tracks off The Hybrid too.

I think Ironman edges it out in consistency, it's a top ten album for me personally.

theyre both classics. so it's splitting hairs, but the release of supreme was something magical, listening to it with others whose minds were equal as blown, an experience i only ever duplicated with chronic 2001

with iron man i remember friends who had rainy days as their land line voicemail message, and playing ball after school with that as the soundtrack, good times :_)

I honestly can't fathom why you would fight over a drake shirt lol.

Late but my top 10 Kenneth tracks are in no order
Money Trees
Maad City
Sing About Me
Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe
P&P
Cartoons and Cereal
Blow My High
Spiteful Chant
The Heart pt. 2
The Recipe

Makes me realize how many great tracks Kenny has.

Nah. A new GTA game just came out. People are too busy listening the radio stations.

I wish there was a custom soundtrack option. Would LOVE Harry Fraud beats while driving or out on sea.

Today I bought 48 ounces of Olde English. Not because I wanted to, but because it was all I could afford.

Looking forward to graduating and getting a job lol.
