It’ll come down to what’s actually in those contracts, and it’ll be very hard to argue for overturning any part of them.

I have a feeling they’re going to turn out to be pretty favorable to the defense.

Let's be honest, It's the age of the internet. Even if it was only going to be distributed on DVDs outside of North America, did they really think the videos would actually stay outside of North America? That's some serious naivety.
Of course not... But now they can sue for money. 'murica.

Well it depends if they can prove they were signed under duress. But considering they filmed them signing the contracts it is going to be extra hard to prove.

These guys are totally scummy for pulling the old non nude model trick, and lieing over and over. But also its porn and well its going to follow you so regardless of who films you, once its filmed you better know that it can "ruin" your life at some point.

But the guys who ran this website or whatever are total sleazebags. I mean you can call up any porn casting agency and get willing actors. Or just go scour strip clubs or the local corner where whores hang out. Worst case scenario make a thread on REEEE they always support sex workers.

Imagine you saw an add for a PS4 for 200$ with a copy of Spiderman. You show up and they bait and switch you and its a PS3 with a blank disc. We would all be pissed and call those assholes assholes. So fuck bait and switches.

Also though never do porn with your PS3 or PS4. Those are for controllers ONLY!!!

But these girls are probably more attractive, and have a “girls next door” vibe to them.

Who you would rather fuck. The girl you had a crush on in high school/college or some chick from a strip club?

Once this controversy broke I watched a bunch of the GdP clips for research purposes and all the girls I saw there very much up for the gig, very comfortable for a first porn gig, to the point I thought it surely wasn’t their first porn film. I mean, a complete stranger fucking you, that should look quite awkward the first time, no?

I think what set this off was that they didn’t think anybody could ever find out. They were glad to fuck and pocket the money, the anonymity claim was the hitch.

I have no idea why any girl would want to do porn for that little amount of money when stripping seems like such a better alternative if your that desperate for cash.

It doesn't seem like you guys read everything here. If the story from the last link is true (and it does parallel stories from many former pornstars), these were very threatening, high pressure environments where the women were made to fear violence if they tried to leave. Unfortunately if the story is true there is no evidence left behind except the travel expenses paid for to show they were brought there alone.

Yeah, I was ready to come in here to laugh at these dumb bitches, but that article painted a different picture. The people behind this are veteran human traffickers. Wealthy, organized and know how to cover their tracks. They even pay other women to lie to make it seem as real as possible. Everything seems legit until you're basically at the point where there's no turning back. Shit is crazy.

The girl I fancied back in school ended up being a crackhead bum so....

Depends what they signed. Ultimately the proof is in the pudding. It's all on video, if they enjoyed it they can't hide that fact. It's on video.

This should be thrown out of court, and the women suing should be laughed at and ridiculed for the rest of their meager lives.

Didn't one is the Miss America contestants lose their title for appearing in a video for them? I forget which state. That was so fucking lame, she had sex on camera big fucking deal.

It was someone that either won or was runner-up in a state pageant.

Googled, it was the runner-up of the Miss Colorado Teen USA 2012 pageant.

She went back and did other scenes with them.

Apparently the ads were listed as paid modelling gigs at first and only after they applied they found out it was porn. Like i said though, they still could have declined. and expecting the videos to not spread on the internet is plain naive, not gonna defend this. However they definitely were lied to in regards to the videos which is a shitty thing to do by the producers

Yeah but it makes me wonder if there was some mega high pressure applied once they got them there.

This is from the second article I posted in the OP.

It was then when I was made aware that the photo shoot wasn’t at all on anyone’s agenda but my own. My recruiter half smiled and pulled a manila envelope from the folder he was carrying. He opened the envelope and flashed a thick stack of all $100 bills. My confusion immediately turned to terror the second the words, “adult film” were mouthed by the muscular youngest man in the group. He laughed and started moving towards me. Right away, I began hysterically crying and saying “no” over and over. It was the only word I seemed to remember how to say. My mind was in total –panic but my body was like a deer in headlights. I couldn’t move my legs to run, causing my sobbing to intensify. The men were furious with my hysterical response and immediately began screaming at me. Each man verbally attacked me differently, breaking me from all angles. I was told how incredibly ugly I was and that I was the farthest thing from what a modeling agency wants, that I was just another easily forgotten slut, and was called every disgusting/degrading name out there. I was told how insignificant my existence was and that no one wanted to come with me for a reason. My “recruiter” began screaming just inches from my face, demanding I pay back every dollar he wasted on me for my plane ticket and hotel room. I was told I could not leave until all of my expenses were paid back. He stood in between me and the door and repetitively shouted over and over, “where is my money!” Having literally only $0.30 to my name and borrowing money just for gas to drive to the airport, I felt as if there was no way out. Honestly, I do not know why I didn’t think to call 911 on my cell or scream for help. I was way past terrified and had no idea if these men were going to beat me or even kill me. They had broken me.

I was handed a pile of poorly stapled papers and was told to fill every blank. It was a contract that required my initials and/or signature every 10 words or so. Everything these people advertised on ModelMayhem was a lie. I had no idea what the men’s’ names were in the room, what the company’s was actually called, what country these people even came from, let alone what the hell I was signing my name on. I attempted reading through the documents, but was yelled at and told to “shut up” because “the recordings will never even be distributed in America” if I lingered too long on a page. I was given bullshit lines to say to the camera and had to appear genuinely excited for porn and realistically turned on by the terrifying naked stranger in front of me. Every time that I either started crying, winced, or moved away in pain, I was belittled like a dog that just peed on the floor and forced to start the take again from the top. The entire process, I was screamed at for not being hot enough, not taking it like I should, and for being “a dumb bitch”. I wasn’t even a human being anymore; I was an item. My body gave up. I had never felt so much physical/emotional pain in my entire life, yet was forced to pretend that I loved every second of it.

I always found weird that this girls would actually use their real names on girlsdoporn(people were actually able to track down some of them).

It makes sense that they thought it would be for private clients only. Still very naive of them to think that something that is online won't leak eventually.

That sounds cartoonishly evil, I find hard to believe that's real life, if it is it's obviously criminal but man, all it needs is a top hat-wearing moustache-twirling cat-petting guy sitting in the back.... with an eypatch, both the cat and the guy.

I actually searched for a few compilation clips after reading this and like 99.9% of the women looked liked they couldn't believe what they just did, sitting there with cum on their faces. Most of them looked like they were done half way through, almost like they spent some of the money or something and had to just get through it. Had to be something locking them in.

Would need to see the contract. You would think these chicks would know about the internet. Just desperate for some cash I guess.

I'm sure they do work with people that actually want to get into porn though.

Well, that's terrifying.

people still have "business" meetings in hotels room...
Im puzzled on the level of ignorance some of these girls have. Im curious on why women fell its ok too meet in hotels to talk about any thing other than sex. Am i being too old man for this ?

im upset bout a bunch of brolic mofos blocking your way out and forcing you to sign docs. But for the ogirls that were just smooth talked into having a dik in there mouth? Like ... Heh this isnt just plain modeling. Enveloped with $$$ gets flashed, and a guy with his dick out make his presence known. Stay or Go? The ones that stayed wanted to get paid. They did a job and were compensated.

I'm sure they do work with people that actually want to get into porn though.
I would guess most of the threatening stuff happened toward the beginning then once they got their site running/famous they were able to recruit for it directly. But just do a search for terms like ex-pornstar testimony, porn industry abuse, porn human trafficking and such and you'll find many, many stories. There are testimonies from some pretty famous ones, too, who gave fake-positive interviews while in the industry (when they had something on the line) but after escaping condemned it and all its deception.

There are even some things I haven't seen commended on much, like how a lot of girls will have a faint star or heart outline tattoo around their pelvic bone, like a lot of girls the same tattoo. Might be a guild of some sort or might be subtle branding tattoos, which is some real human trafficking stuff. The camgirl industry probably has the most trafficking since they don't often become famous/remembered stars and their rooms can be within a remote complex where the management has control over their whole life and says they won't get paid if they don't have sex with them or gives them to high paying clients.

There may be some lying and cheating aspects that will need to be worked out in court, but ultimately these are women who allowed themselves to be filmed naked. I think women should stop allowing themselves to be filmed naked. Women allowing themselves to be filmed naked is the primary source of film of naked women in the vast majority of cases. Notwithstanding the few cases where there is 0 consent involved, the plain and simple fact is there is absolutely no shortage of women willing to be filmed naked for cash, favors or even promises of cash and favors. I think the world would be better off without this and women would be too, and the single solitary link between these images existing and not existing, or at least the path of least resistance in eliminating them, is female choice. You can't really reduce consumer desire for this, you can't eliminate the technology, and you can't easily change the law and legal protections for this kind of media existing, nor can you easily change the cultural influences on decision making. The most easy thing to change is for women to change their own minds about being involved in this and related industries.

Society has to decide whether women and men are really equal. Do they have the equal capacity to make choices, or does one group need chaperoning and protection against their own whims? I start to wonder when I see the arguments about this kind of thing where people are quick to criticize the male side of it but very defensive of the female side, making excuses and downplaying their agency. I don't think it would be much of a scandal, nor very many excuses would be made, if it were a group of men who consented to one degree or another and accepted money in one way or another to be filmed in pornography and later had seller's remorse.
