Holy shit those graphics are insane.
Well , If only the trees weren't so obviously 2D , it would be perfect.
It's a bummer since driveclub didn't have So many 2D trees near the track

I never understood why the car sounds were always so terrible.
I mean the last Need for Speed they went out and setup mics around the exhaust and inside the car for each one and it sounded incredibly good ...And thats Need for Speed.
You'd expect game devs as passionate about racing as the GT team to go to any lengths to get accurate sounds as well.

Need for speed also sounds fake. Like gun sounds in movies, exagerated to sound more agressive. at which point your arguing about what you WANT cars to sound like, and what they should actually sound like.
driveclub also had twice as long per frame to render those trees
True. Still .. Gt Sports had more time to know the console , and probably the more power dedicated to the simluation aspect of the game.
Still , Some 3D trees wouldn't hurt
It sounds like the car is driving inside of hangar. What's up with all the echo?
Have you been to a racetrack? Depending on the track surroundings, echo from cars is commonplace.
I grew up around racing, along with a background in both engineering and racing as an adult, along with some audio work on the side. I can tell you the echo is completely wrong.
Im not goning to say it's perfect, because it is somewhat overdone, but the echo just needs to be toned down slightly (video from a Nurburgring enthusiast channel):

Even when I go to the Daytona races, and its flat as shit in Florida, there's echoes and reverbs.

i dont care how much time a dev has to "know the console" you cant just magically find the performance to render at twice the speed without making sacrifices
Is damage in this one or na? Also are they adding the create a track that they talked about in GT6? I'm buying this unlike GTS, but I'm curious. This better make it in Q4.Forget the sounds, the best looking racer 4 gens and counting.
Just wish they had realistic crashes now

There isn't a single game on the console market that is better sounding than this. (Don't have a pc)
Dirt Rally certainly comes close mind.
Incredible stuff.
Damage was confirmed but we have not seen it yet. Nor have they detailed it further than confirming it. The track creator was released for GT6 but probably not in Sport. Is damage in this one or na? Also some of those gifs.. isthisreallife.gif
I'd be amazed if they showed decent crashing. I think it will just be a basic paint scratcher but whatever.
I'd rather the physics and interaction be truly fixed over showing damage. But, if the damage was physics based that would be even cooler.
No game really gets physics on any of it right, so I guess we just have to wait for a lot more power in computing before we get close on any of it anyways.
Already confirmed, they showed it in the first gameplay trailer... how deep is the editor, though, we don't know yet.Now let us do custom livery paint jobs on our cars. I think that's an awesome option to have, like Forza or even Drive Club.
