I don't remember Aksys ever charging full price for an update or sequel. As far as I know none of the blazblue sequels were 60.

As for Jack-O' herself, she's definitely not my type of character but she seems pretty unique so I'll keep an eye out for her. I don't expect Chipp to have too much of a problem with her either :3
I don't understand the ramifications of some of the things Johnny can do in this game that seem to be giving others pause, like Zweihander combos ending in hard knockdown in the air, but we'll see

Looking through the Guilty Gear Codex, I can see right away that each of these is lifted straight from the "Interests" and "Cares About" entries on each of the character's bio-page. For example, from the codex:
Sol - "Cares About: Queen's 'Sheer Heart Attack' album"
Faust - "Interests: Collecting brown paper bags"
I-No - "Cares About: The first one is a secret, Marlene (her guitar), youth" (Even Johnny doesn't know what he stole; so meta!)
Bedman - Everything is listed as "Unknown" except for this: "Likes: Down pillows"
Johnny: "Interests: Finding good women"... maybe this is a pun on the original Japanese adjective used here?
Only ones that I can't back up from the Codex (or -SIGN-'s story mode in Ramlethal's case) seem to be Millia's, Zato's and Slayer's; although, they don't seem seem all that out of place.
Loving the consistency and attention to detail here!

The reason I didn't rush out to buy this game months ago. I like when fighting games do this because they keep the game fresh, but at the same time, buying the same game seven times is no fun either.New character too?

Pretty sure this is a sequel to -SIGN-, not the same game (much like BlazBlue going from Calamity Trigger to Continuum Shift to Chronophantasma). You'll be waiting a long time and missing out on valuable play experience (and story, if that's of interest to you) if you decide not to bother with anything they put out.
don't bother. People who say that probably had no interest in the first place.

There's interest here. It's just that four versions of Street Fighter IV and four or five versions of Blaz Blu later, I'm not ready to go down the Super Turbo Champion Ultra Edition road again.
Glad to hear that this is a full on sequel and not a near full price add on with one or two characters added to the roster.

Just noticed the gun is still pink. Wonder if it will clash with the rest of the design.
Some people were saying depending on costume choice, you can play either classic or new Elph, so maybe gun just consistent across both for whatever reason? Could be dumb internet rumors though.

Man this wait for Bridget reveal is getting the best of me. I am not even sure if they are going to be on the roster of the Xrd series. Though it is still early in games life span as there is other versions lined up potentially.

People playing this new loketest said that Raven is in the game during sol's story mode. He has a full polygon model just like Sin in the arcade version of -Sign-

Man the first game didn't pull me in for long , I was watching Evo and wondering why I was sleeping on Xrd.
I didn't have interest in any character that I played and moved on to other things.

I decided to learn El a bit since I love stance characters, so I'm glad to see a new costume for her. Character portraits look cool much better IMO.
Three brand new then. I think revelator console will have 2 returning and 2 new, this already counting Jack and Jonnhy. If there is more, I guess it would be DLC before the third version.
Some of those BB versions are sequels though. I don't get why some people deny it...
