Just snagged my copy, too. Judging from all the people streaming my guess is servers are up. Sadly I'm still at work so I can't confirm until I get home later this evening.

No, that link circulating about how to make sure you have the download said September 21, not October 21. If you preordered Halo 5 digitally before September 21, you have to reinstall. Any time after and you should be good.
