Yeah, It's pretty delicious.
I think I enjoyed the Kyle v Hydra feud the best over the years.
Also the Heckfu v Xand feud still rages internally, but is also quite good.

I really hope we're getting back to a decent length campaign in Halo 5, this made it glaringly obvious that Halo 4's was too short and too easy in general.

From what they said, that's part of what led to splitscreen getting cut... They wanted to maintain the scope and fidelity of the game across both the campaign and multiplayer. They keep hinting at this being the largest Halo game yet.
If Halo 5 truly is massive, then it would prove to be worth the sacrifice... But if Halo 5 is only the same length as Halo 4 or only slightly longer...
It would be nice if Halo 5 was actually a coherent fully realized story in game. No outside reading, watching, Halo Waypoint sleuthing, to figure out what is going on with the story.

For the sake of ending any confusion here, my time at 343 came to an end some time ago and I am in a self-imposed exile from HaloGAF and most forum posting in general, and anything I say online regarding video games or anything else is solely my own opinion and is/was never intended to represent the opinions of Microsoft or 343. I still like Halo regardless of what happens, and I still like that this place exists.

Eh, it's more that H2's just bullshit on Legendary. On lower difficulties it can easily be blasted through faster than H4.

Somewhat true, but my Halo 3 run all had missions between 30 minutes and 1 hour (barring a 15 min run of Floodgate). Halo 3: ODST is probably a tad shorter than Halo 4, but that wasn't a mainline campaign.

Halo 3 was so, so short for me. Not saying that Halo 4 was a marathon (ha) or anything close to it, but it felt longer to me than 3 ever did.
I think ODST had some legs due to its open world-esque design. Spending all that time hunting the comms and whatnot, or getting peppered into Swiss cheese on legendary for hours, added to the length considerably.
I am hoping that 5 is literally larger and actually longer. With 8 main characters and a wealth of supporting characters, this better have some ridiculous depth.
They obviously can't go into the story too deeply yet, but the hints are there. We'll just have to wait and see

Didn't really hang around without any common to talk about. I've pretty much stopped gaming on 360 (and i never joined the newgen), and the mess called the MCC and what's been done to Halo 5... eh, let's just say that no one, myself included, would like me constantly complaining about them.
I admit i miss things but... *shrug*
