I played each of the maps, they aren't that good, and they look terrible. Is sane lighting really that much to ask? Skyboxes are cool but not when they're suns that blind you whenever you look in their direction

Maps are actually quite exceptional despite their lack of diversity in terms of size and in some ways aesthetics. Shatter CTF plays surprisingly well as the layout seems a bit more symmetrical than I had anticipated. LE DLC crisis aside, I have to say well done 343/CA.

Hired, what PS3 games did you get? Been thinking about getting a PS3 but not sure what I'd play on it. Would certainly make my Blops2 experience easier since PS3 kids are terrible.

It doesn't have that King of the Hill design and it's symmetric. It's already better than every Reach map on paper.

I bought a PS3 at launch. I've played three games to completion, one of them being Motorstorm. The other Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2 was boring. The third was Journey. Journey was good. Don't buy a PS3.
If I had the monies I'd buy a PS3 just for Journey. How long does it take to complete, I might be interested in playing it at a friends place.

I tried playing through it a second time a while back. It's not the same knowing what will happen. Although I could play the chapter in that gif a thousand times and it wouldn't get old.

I wanted to get a PS3. My brother's friend brought his over and we played MGS4. I finished the entire game, cutscenes and all, in a single sitting. Played MGO for a little while. It was fun.
Then they took MGO away.
I'm not willing to drop that much money for Mod Nation Racers, Little Big Planet and Journey.
Then again I'm dropping hundreds of dollars to ensure I can play Halo, so what the fuck.

I've been wanting to play MGS4 for years, and Last of Us looks outstanding. Journey. Demon's Souls. Maybe BLOPS2 with my coworkers, and of course, the Destiny beta.
I'm going to investigate the cost of digital vs. disc before I buy any games, though. I picked up a 160GB 2nd gen for $230 because it fits in the GAEMS Vanguard. Yes, I bought the Vanguard.

I guess a "free" map "error" is a good way to get players back into the game. I don't see it lasting though since its just a bunch of BTB maps. No arena maps to get the blood flowing. Just depressing cooldown maps, drive a vehicle do random stuff, get bored.

I love headlong and harvest kinda reminds me of it , at least from videos, so i may enjoy it.shame about wreckage framerate though. I guess splitscreen will definitely be out of the question , performance will be shit given standard maps already run at crappy fps in splitscreen.
