Not all the time. But I have a huge one when I wake up, and a mild one the rest of the day. At night, I'm pretty limp as I don't take the stuff then.

even so, you never know. You at least should have incl. that info in the OP, assuming you REALLY wanted GAF's help. Not to mention, why didn't you go on about ANY of this when everyone was on your jock about your folks going into the exam room with you? This all seems so damage control-ish to me. :lol

It is damage control. I never tell people online this stuff unless I'm cornered into a position in which I need to.

that's understandable in an everyday thread setting, but the info on your medical history could have proven vry. helpful to any one of the GAFfers who's medical advice you were seeking. A proper background is all I'm saying.

Cipro for the flu? I'm not nitpicking, but I'm just confused. I've heard of Viagra for some heart conditions, but cipro's an antibiotic. Antibiotics don't do anything for a flu. If you've been taking it a long time, that could be the culprit right there.

I usually take antibiotics for my flu's. And I've had it before. My most recent prescription ends tomorrow and it's been about a week and a half.

I also think it's the cipro. It's usually prescribed for people with a high possibility for Urinary tract Infections and other infections starting in the bodily waste area. Maybe that's what lead to the blood.

Hmm, well, that doesn't make sense. I'm not saying that your doc doesn't prescribe it for you, but I just don't understand why he would. Antibiotics are ineffective for treating the flu. If you have some kind of bacterial infection in addition to the flue, sure, but not just for a virus. It just doesn't work.

Anyway, extended (or frequent) antibiotic use can kind of mess you up, including bleeding. Just a thought.

Or...it could be lupus.

More specifically, you might want to check about vitamin K deficiency. Antibiotics are known to cause vitamin K deficiency, which in turn can cause abnormal bleeding.

Well if your not playing us for attention mate, might I suggest second opinion from another doctor? I thought I took cake with urologist just out medical schooling and 6 months of cipro at 14 but way your going you got me beat.

P.S. If they suggest a test where a huge ass needle goes into your penis down to your bladder where you will start pissing all over doctor, run like hell mate, it sucks.

He'll probably be seeing plenty of bruises on him if he had vit K deficiency. Cuts wouldn't heal fast. and he's pretty frail. so he's bound to be accident prone. furthermore, the bleeding stopped. I'm guessing there could be inflammation.

Oh man, I wouldn't be surprised if his doc gave him antibiotics for a viral infection. Some docs out there hand out antibiotics like it's a fucking band-aid for anything. Idiots.

And I'm not surprised by JSnake's parents, either. This ain't the first time we've heard about them. Seriously, imagine the most hardcore parents you can think of in Jesus Camp. They're probably slightly less insane than JSnake's parents.
