Also this game won't be held back by cross-gen like the first game was. That may help them expand a lot
Never got around to playing the first one.
Didn't they butcher the license and include shit like magic powers and loads of other stuff that just doesn't fit into LotR?
Okay, so say they want to set the third game in Rohan, but want it to be clear it's the same series.I can't get over how weird it is that they named this Shadow of War and not eg War of Mordor
I guess. I just don't think Shadow of is a very descriptive title for a franchise set in Middle-Earth. And Shadow of War is the blandest of bland titles.Okay, so say they want to set the third game in Rohan, but want it to be clear it's the same series.
How cannon is this though?

From what Ive heard, the story will be based on Talion and Celebrimbor (the two protagonists from Shadow of Mordor) working to forge a new ring thats as powerful as Saurons. The Nemesis system is back, obviously, and there are new stronghold mechanics, new special abilities, and all that jazz.
Yessir.
Also, Gollum shows up for no reason other than to remind people this is a LotR thing.
Im not supporting day one 125$ shit. Will buy cheap.
bought MESoM the other day for $7.
Felt it wasn't worth it 😔 very ugly and repetitive.
Maybe this sequel is much improved.god knows LotR world deserves a great game
I'm not all that clued up on LotR lore, but how can a human create a Ring of Power? Sauron was a demi-god or something no?

Dwarves and elves made rings of power. Sauron's was different because it had some of his blood in it.I'm not all that clued up on LotR lore, but how can a human create a Ring of Power? Sauron was a demi-god or something no?
