Why would they neuter the gameplay when games like Bloodborne have sold well in the west?
I think it's a case where even though BB can have high level play. The souls games are still easier to play than MonHun. So long as you're patient you can get by a lot in BB by just dodging and grinding for leveling up.
You can argue that you could do the same thing in MonHun, but with the gameplay loop the way it is. Most players would probably give up before "getting good".Since there's so many more factors on tackling the hunts.
MH Frontier was below expectations for Capcom, Nintendo ones weren't. PS4 is cancerous to the series. Capcom won't make the mistake of putting it on PS4 again
Frontier is an MMO. While the nintendo games are true experiences.
It's not a surprise it was a failure. Frontier came to vita as well and no one cared. People don't want the MMOs really.
This don't make any sense to me.
The community is not on ps4 and the last sony platform that hold it was the psp.
There is nothing other than dust and tears there.
The only viable option is to go full all in with nintendo, just because it always be a "print money" option until now.
Capcom, like on past, don't want to split the community, and they are right.
Capcom isn't going for the already established community, they're going for new people.
They want to aim at all of those people who go "I wish the series was on PS4/PC consoles" and "The series is too hard as it is"
Anyone else from the original entries that doesn't mind the change is just more money to them. Those that dislike the change will have their
original style games on the switch.
