They look... Awkward.

Like in the trailer footage, it felt like I was looking at statues with their animations. Xerneas and Yveltal looked much better.

I do really like the cool galaxy effect on their foreheads, though, and thank God at least they're not more generic dragons.

I just remembered that the moon is the symbol of the Darkness type in the Pokemon TCG. It's even the same style of moon seen here.

Also worth noting there is a dark side of the moon that is never exposed to the light.

Both are ok. Not terribly over designed like the Gen IV & V legendaries but not as graceful as the Gen VI legendaries. Xerneas is one of the GOAT Pokémon on the design side.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but the Sun Lion's design looks a lot like a space suit. Pretty neat!
