Boss Doggie
all my loli wolf companions are so moe
Skip Go-Onger and watch RPM.
Yeah, I feel almost guilty. I liked the characters a lot. I liked the general wackiness (but not cartoon wackiness like Den-O), I LOVE LOVE LOVE the music. The cheesy love stories did it for me. I mean, it wasn't a mindblower as far as the plot twists went. I like how Wataru grew up, I adore Otoya for obvious reasons, Yuri and Megumi were hot, IXA was a cool Rider. I dunno, it just did it for me.
Meanwhile, everyone seems to freaking LOOOOOOOVE Faiz and that was one of my least favorites by far. I think I feel about Faiz how everyone feels about Kiva.
Also seeing them kill the guy, civilian problem solved, dude grows big, kill it with mecha also got tiresome.
Not sure if I'll watch another season, maybe Go-Onger. But I basing that just on how cool I think the suits look. Was the season any good?
Finished Gokaiger. Really enjoyed the season.
Things I liked:
-Gokai Silver, I think having him be a Sentai fan is a genius move. It creates an interesting
-GoZyuJin
Thins I didn't like:
-I'm not sure if anyone else thought this way but it felt like the team didn't care for each other until later in the season
-All of Gokai-Oh's transformations looked tacked on and ugly
I think I just dislike giant robot fights.

The crappier the season the better the music.

I think they all have great music (except Go-Busters, it's score is like a retread of Dekaranger, without it's awesome compositions and style).
Dekaranger's was perfect, you can not hear that opening alarm and not get pumped. Dekamaster's theme oozed old school badassness, and the only music that competes with SWAT mode's "you done fucked up now" mood is the Kagenki theme.
Yeah, it really does sound like a stripper song.
Anyway, this board already knows about All Generation Kamen Rider 2 right?
Also on songs does anyone know which this is?
So coming off the 48fps thread, how did you guys feel when Kamen Rider went from 30fps to 24fps?
Was it 30 to 24 or more just a move from videotape to film? Up until Hibiki it was that way.. I remember getting my tapes of Kuuga in the mail back in the day and having that full frame motion unlike how the encodes look, they still don't quite capture the framerate that they had, even the subs don't match the framerate of the DVD's because of the encoding.
That downward stab! My memory escapes me but isn't OhRanger considered the black sheep of the sentai series?
I don't know if the show was any good or not, but it was the climax of a downward spiral in ratings for the series. When the Tokyo Subway Sarin terrorist attack occurred in 1995, dark shows that dealt with that kind of stuff (like Ohranger) were considered to be in very bad taste, which was the absolute last thing the show needed. A lot of rewrites were made to the show to change it's tone (basketball playing mecha!), but it was too late.
And therefore, the next Sentai show Carranger was a comedy, and ratings went back up and the show wasn't cancelled.
It's always an interesting comparison to Power Rangers where Zeo depending on who you talk to was at one point the height of the shows popularity and it's sentai counterpart was the opposite. It's also interesting that Turbo almost killed Power Rangers (for me at least) and Carranger was sentais saving grace. That is all based on opinion though, I'm not sure what the consensus is on Zeo and Turbo, I just know I loved one and hated the other.

Kiva had it's on menu at a Japanese diner chain.Watching Go-Busters on TV Asahi now, why are they selling Go-Busters themed hot dogs? They will sell anything with the show's brands in it, it seems.
turbo almost killed power rangers entirely. in space was supposed to be the last hurrah, but it was so well received, that they continued...its pretty sad how bad turbo was despite having a pretty good cast of secondary rangers.
OhRed's first battle is still classy today.
The show definitely had a higher framerate, much like soap operas do. You could notice it whenever the show did shaky cam.
Not really. Turbo managed to prevent ratings from dipping. It was already sinking during Zeo but Turbo managed to prevent it from going down further.
Tbh I liked the 30fps ones better, but only in Kuuga, Agito, and Hibiki. So coming off the 48fps thread, how did you guys feel when Kamen Rider went from 30fps to 24fps?
Killing and then cockblocking the man? Douchebagy.
Can't believe I watched the whole thing. Grampus rocked the hell out of Power to tear.
So foundation X is a thing?
Don't remember... did they appear in OOO?
Go-Busters is trying to do a lot of heavy drama, but it's not really good at it.
It's from Kamen Rider W.
It seems that Fourze is dabbling a bit in the crossover part of it's original premise.
Gobusters are outpacing Goseiger for cast you just don't give a fuck about. Except for Enter.

The every other year Sentai rule is still in effect.
