Yeah it is very obvious(it was a joke:lol ) and my point up there was that a 100+ man team lead by Hironobu Sakaguchi are putting their heart and soul in this 3+year project and through this cycle they spend most of their time looking at horrible graphics day and night.I have experience working at games and i know how it hurts when people insult everything you worked so hard for so easily despite knowing it is an alpha build and has a lot of work left.The main point here is dont insult games in progress and it is disrespectful to the people who are making the game(even if it is in shity shape). Give constructive critics that help developers(i know people from LO team sometimes check this forum) instead of "The technology right now is shit" and "What are they doing with all the money"...
Think a little before before you write a post and have respect for game developers because they are making games for you.

Your bound to get this type of criticism when you release a fricken Alpha Build of a game to people your marketing this game too. Its like feeding some people at your restaurant raw uncooked food, in this case a block of frozen meat.

The game should have been in development much longer before a demo was released, apparently.

Well that's why MS is publishing BD/LO in JP; to atract more casual gamers.

I've read some comments on current LO 2ch thread and people are praising graphics, atmosphere and music and pointing out some obvious flaws; slow tempo at battles, too basic battle system, too much (long) loading, too restricted walk areas, framerate dropping... some people have understanding for all that since it's early demo version afterall, others don't understand why such demo was released in a first place... seems lot of them are still looking forward to final 'product'.

Btw. in a week time (11/11) there'll be some sort of Making of Lost Odyssey tv program, lasting 30 mins or so, hopefully someone on 2ch will capture the video.

It'll definitely be available. I wouldn't be worried, but I also don't expect to see much of the game. Famitsu's blurb on it sounded like it's going to be a long interview/discussion program with Sakaguchi, Uematsu, Inoue, etc. Should be interesting nonetheless.

Not really. I skimmed through it, but most of it is typical Japanese style promotional documentary.... which is to say..... silly and non-informative. The game is too early to go into detail anyway, the demo told us that much.
