MAGES Uploads Strange Video with Cryptic Footage and Seemingly Coded Messages

The official YouTube channel of MAGES has uploaded an out-of-nowhere strange video lasting 36 seconds. The title and video description don’t make much sense, leading to the assumption that they are coded with some manner of cipher.

The video itself begins with a warning telling viewers that the following sounds and footage may be unsettling for those not strong with sudden shock footage that’s almost jumpscare-esque. Said footage features what appears to be a hospital room with doctors operating on a patient. It’s surprisingly graphic, with blood and such displayed in a black-and-white presentation.

Then, an individual wearing a black robe reciting something from a book is shown with candles scattered about. Lastly, someone who may or may not be the patient stands up and bites into the neck of one of the doctors, resulting in a pained scream.

As you can probably guess, there’s little to conclude based on a surface-level single viewing. This video may be part of a promotional practice for the recently announced Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion, which is planned to be released in Japan later this year.

Alternatively, this footage could be some type of promotion for the upcoming Science Adventure entry, which has been teased as a new Steins;Gate sequel. This may be possible considering that it’s also Steins;Gate’s 15th anniversary. Regardless, we’ll keep you all updated with future developments.
