I rescind my comment, it was unfair in that case.

However, I will note why I was slightly more aggressive in this case.

Now, these could have definitely been out of a greater context, but you can see why I might have gotten an impression over the past year that you were really interested in one side getting exclusives and the other not even if evidence wasn't super strong.

Don't actually take this bet. Frank Gibeau has started both in external interviews that Respawn's game is only an exclusive due to being an EA Partners title and a new IP, and thus they felt safest going exclusively first, but that for internal titles they're going full multiplatform. I wasn't that serious, just more so curious if you were.

The Witcher 2 was indeed console exclusive, hence I thought there was a chance The Witcher 3 could well be. Silly, but people think Agent will be exclusive because of some contract stating Rockstar owing Sony. The nextSony fan who comes out with this, please bite his head off as well

Don't worry, I actually have a list from all sides that I keep around for things like this, haha. Also that wasn't a ban bet note, more of a tag bet.

To note, I don't feel there's anything *wrong* with discussing if something will be exclusive, but I think given the scenario of today's world it makes the most sense when something actually pops up to suggest it as being so.

Like, say a store listing only Xbox One and PC versions or a resume or a comment from EA about the strong ties of Xbox and Mass Effect.

I also don't want you to think there's anything wrong with really liking Xbox over other platforms. I don't even own a PS3 since I got an Xbox 360 instead. It's just I guess in the post-E3 world I'm trying to turn some avenues down in volume a bit like "exclusive speculation without evidence" since the forum has gotten a bit... war-ish.

Stopping the drive-bys against Xbox One games is something I also want to look into a lot more now that the systems are out and we should really be past this outside of things like Digital Foundry threads and threads specifically about game differences. As it is currently I understand why people feel the forum is hostile to Xbox and that shouldn't be that way.
