It's not unheard of for NXT, but yeah. An injury angle is a bit weird.
The Gargano/Dawson team idea sounds so fucking good after that triple threat where they all teamed against AOP that I hope the idea is that it happens and they win the belts with Ciampa turning on Gargano out of jealousy.

They did immediately segue into Sanity calling out anyone to fight and Ohno coming out immediately.
If it was an angle it'd explain how smoothly that went.
But still kinda odd.
If it's a angle maybe it's to play a story where only Gargano can properly climb and that'll factor into the end. Maybe even play into a split? With Garagano being pissed at Ciampa being useless and then kicking his leg out of his leg?

I love the OSW guys but man they randomly hate great matches...
Bitching that the crowd was into Roode/Nak at TakeOver because they hated it was pretty funny.
And thinking Asuka/Ember was terrible and going for a smoke during the match.

I watched that UK match on YouTube with Dunne and Sam, really disappointed they remixed dunnes song into something interior.

Tanahashi has ruptured bicep and it is a full tear... but he's gonna wrestle at Dominion... fucking hell. I hope it's one match, he does the job, NJPW changes their plans and he gets surgery.

I need to start the story mode, I want to main black canary since she is fun but God damn I feel the way she is in her current form is garbage, she has no priority for any of her moves and nothing is safe at all unless you meter burn. I hope the first update treats her well.

Its crazy, Kidani just came out saying they are employing new health strategies and they let stupid bullshit like this go on.
Those games are always balanced so weird. It's fun playing her and Catwoman and pretending the game is Killer Instinct though.

Catwoman can use some toning down, her back heavy move that cause transitions is too good, it's fast as hell, range is bonkers, has weird invincibility and hitbox plus if it's blocked she is in a low stance so it's hard to capitalize on. Also to add on to my canary rant her counter is straight up ass, it reverses blue beetles psycho crusher move but not Catwomans equivalent, also doesn't counter high air normals. I am great with arrow but after maining him in the original I don't want to do it again for another few years since he plays exactly the same. Between this and Tekken I'm in fighting game heaven.
I did find it weird how many of the characters are identical to the old game from what I can remember. And just like in the old game they make you play as Batman a ton and he's not that interesting to play.

Speaking of Shibata, he's been moved to a general ward and is walking fine now after the paralysis he was experiencing on his right side. Honma's been moved to Osaka and is currently rehabbing to return to the ring, doing strength training and light cardio under doctor supervision. He's aiming to return to the ring sometime this year.

He was going to be like the white version of The Rock. Someone in the writing room just pitched Vince the idea while he was drinking wine and on a plane and he loved it at that point.

They seemed pretty swept away in being at the event and taking it at face value rather than thinking about it much critically. Pretty sure those podcasts were recorded late that night of the events after a few drinks as well. Very weird tastes regardless.
Vince needs to die, so we get better story lines.
