No. The problem is that all these PSP buyers are just fine buying the hardware without any accompanying software, so publishers have to get over the hurdle of convincing the apathetic game-buyers to purchase software.

They all are potential customers. That they didn't buy the PSP for a game is another story, that doesn't mean they won't buy appealing games when they appear. Monster Hunters succes is proof of this.

MH's sales are good but they aren't much different from the highest selling gamecube game which had a much lower userbase, so it's still kinda meh...

Game over. Yakuza 3 will give the PS3 a short-lived boost next week, but I don't know what Sony can do to save the PS3 in Japan at this point. They've released silver and white, won the HD war and done various price drops/reconfigurations, all of which has come to absolutely nothing.

At least it hasn't dropped to 10K - in 2008. If you are PS3 fans, pray hard for your console to have revival like PSP.

Personally, I am starting to change my mind on my second console. X360 started to look better and better (and FF series have lost my interest since FFXI).
