Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
So, I though Star Fox could do a bit better than half of the debut of the original, but seeing these charts (behind Puyo Puyo ) it doesn't seem the case :(

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
This rounds goes to OoT 3D....

Puyo Puyo games on DS sell quite well though...

I tought SF could open with something like 40-45k
Now, it'll be lucky to be at 30k...and that wouldn't be so bad...but 40-45k would have been the perfect debut in my opinion

Looking forward to Inazuma Eleven Strikers numbers, I wonder if the franchise does well in a non-portable system.

Its a low-effort spin-off.....this cant be compared to the full-size rpgs on (3)DS + its on Wii....lol

I wonder if Famitsu, and Media Create will agree with Zelda and not LBX staying in the top 10, haha.

See MC saying that LBX is in top10,and Zelda in 15th position.

Famitsu says Taiko is a close second.

I'll be offline again, since this is a big software week someone better start the new thread if you don't want to wait 4 hours.

So the new 3DS color helped it alot. Alas next week it will drop like a rock :(
But it does help Zelda win over Little Battlers this week!
Scariest thing is the ratio of Unchain Blade Rexx. PSP: 18,256. 3DS: 5592. Yikes.

Actually the ratio between the two versions is pretty good for 3DS; we have seen in the past that many multi games (e.g. Wii-PS2) had lower ratio. Considering the fact that PSP has a momentum in Japan now, I expected higher numbers for this version, and lower for the 3DS one.

The Taiko PSP comparison is nuts:
[PSP] Taiko Drum Master Portable (Namco) {2005.08.04} - 17.436 / 83.378
[PSP] Taiko Drum Master Portable 2 (Bandai Namco) {2006.09.07} - 12.370 / 221.179
[PSP] Taiko Drum Master Portable DX (Bandai Namco) {2011.07.14} - 80,215 / NEW

Although the 2nd one LTD at 221k while Famitsu stopped at 59k still tops it. I wonder if Dengeki could give a LTD update this week given the new one.

Seems like LA Noire will have a very hard time selling out it's first shipment. The price will probably drop big during the next few weeks.

Unless Wii Play Motion have huge legs, it will sell a lot less than what Wii Play did (around 2.8 million). I guess that one of the reasons why Wii Play sold so good was because of the included Wii controller and now a lot of Wii owners already have controllers.

Curious to see if Namco will give PSP another Taiko this holiday, or if they'll announce the usual Wii one.

Wii seems to have got out of the big slump. Sales still aren't great but definitely better than the 7-9k of the last few months.

Yeah, pretty low considering there was a new colour ;P

Well, the 3DS *did* need something to get higher sales, and that will be true for the future as well. Let´s hope Nintendo gets the message, aka "good offerings result in good sales".

Yeah, it did 30% of PSP numbers on a platform with a much smaller percentage of PSP's user base. That's not bad, though if I were a niche J-publisher, I'd probably wait until after the holidays to try releasing anything like this as a 3DS exclusive.
