Switch stealing NIS. 😱
I'm more surprised it's still coming to Vita as a January 2018 game to be honest. Though, I suppose they clung on to PS3-only for far too long so it's not that much of a stretch.

"Stealing"
Better late than never? Maybe. Anyway, I separated out the big three (Splatoon 2, Zelda, and Mario Kart) so it's a bit easier to see how the lower sales games perform.

ARMS is back in and tracking above 1 2 Switch. MHXXHD is flattening out; let's see where the baseline will end up. FE: Warriors and Fifa had bad weeks; I'm not expecting them to stay long.
Thanks for putting these together. It's always interesting to see.
Minor nitpick: Is it possible to make the colors consistent for a single game across all of your charts? That would make it easier to glance between them for the big picture.
Come on, its obviously a joke.
hoping gacha games to decline is the same thing as hoping loot boxes to die. There is a reason that those pachinko machine and casinos are still alive today despite there are lots of people hating them and want them to die
Yep, teaser sites, no platforms announced for a couple months, no footage, screenshots in a magazine. The eff am I looking at?
JP is so weird/bad at announcing games it seems

First look at Your Four Knight Princess Training Story
Nippon Ichi Software's new PlayStation 4, Switch, and PS Vita action RPG, in Japan on January 25, 2018.
Capcom will release Monster Hunter: World for PlayStation 4 on Jan. 26, 2018
Oof, that's not a good release date...Why does that date sound like it is close to somethi....
Oh...oh......well at least it might have a chance on Switch and Vita if it is not drowned out by all the marketing pushes that will be going on in January for MH:W.

Ōkami;252239477 said:Japan is getting this too, 50k yen.
Bundle of the first game wasn't released in Japan, this is also the first Pro bundle of note.
Also with this all big PS4 games for the rest of the year are getting bundles.

These games have, probably, no overlap.
They do have overlap. On people wallet.
Thank you.NIS games would have to be appealing to more than 5 people for their products to have any overlap with anything let alone Monster Hunter.
"Your Four Knight Princess Training Story"
The hell is this title lol, are the princesses knights? are there knights protecting the princesses? why is this my story? if they are knights what are they training for?
At least it's clear it's a story.

Anihawk says the touhou battle burst game is out selling the ps4 version
I suspect this has a lot to do with the Switch absorbing the western Vita audience fairly quickly, and that audience has been known to be *very* active + the similar/adjacent demographic fans of the 3DS, so a convergence of supportive demographics for a lot of NIS's (and other such developers) games on a single console.
Two converged audiences vs. a console that's not the PS2. Actually, the Switch is probably more of a PS2 now in terms of making a good bed for a lot of these smaller/non-AAA Japanese titles.

I mean, PS4 already has other (better) Touhou games. This is the first one on Switch. I wouldn't use this game to compare anything to be honest.
That is either the blurriest screenshot imaginable or the most aggressive depth of field in existence.

The screen screenshot is not blurry you can tell be by the HUD unless that's added in after. I'm leaning on DoF

hopefully numbers are not to low this week
